I'm glad I'm resistant (due to certain reasons) to rebuy into GW. Prophecies and Factions were the best 'MMOs' of their time, but I think I would be disappointed trying to replay them. And the devs are absolute cretins who don't deserve a penny. So there's that as well.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
GW was pretty fun, until you entered the arena and got head stomped by Koreans. It was crazy. The first time it happened to us, we were just sitting in front of our monitors, not knowing what had hit us. We were totally and utterly gobsmacked. After that, when we fought Koreans, we fought, and hoped we stood a chance. More often than not, we'd just laugh at the ridiculous hilarity of it all.

Goddamn, this brings back so many memories! Haven't played in over 10 years but these still bring a tear to me eye (the latest set of screens are from around Droknar's Forge right?)
Don't think I've gotten there yet but pics are in shiverpeaks and I just completed the "borlis pass" mission
game is sick tho, world is cool af and combat is fun, with none of the bullshit that comes with most mmos

Blood. Gargoyles aren't the most annoying of enemies but i love watching them burn.

Ah, I was close!

And agreed, it was my first MMO and I loved it; instanced missions were a game-changer. Being able to play with just a few friends or a team of henchmen is incredible

You can fight, summon pawns and even play in multiplayer, but not do quests, level up, buy items or anything else. It requires a lot of tweaking with the game files, but you can teleport across the entire game and spawn any of the bosses to battle, it's a quick way to see the best the game can offer. Like 95% of the enemies are just re-skins from DD, but the 5% new like the Black Knight are really fun to battle.

TR1 via Tomb1Main (TR1 Community Edition) + CRT Royale from ReShade

Open in full 2560x1440 resolution otherwise the scanlines will be fucked up.

Not bad for a or a one-man project. The short length fits the game; it ends before it gets tiresome. Much better than stretching thin gameplay with repetitive mechanics. The game looks gorgeous, but I'd recommend to disable the blur effects. I only did so close to the end but the default setting is too much.

BROs, finished 2nd part of my Resident Evil HD (PC) playthrough.

Beware, lotsa manliness and weak women who need saving inside!

Just the usual:

Making life easier via cheat table - Chris can use the lockpick too (game thinks it's just a multiple-use "small key" actually):

Alternate costumes:

Rebecca looks kinda derpy in her "rodeo" costume:

But still:

:yeah:

The amount of "an unconsensual touching by a male collegue" is truly last-gen in this game:

bTK7AIf.jpg

Back off, male pig!

:rage:

Not to mention the amount of weak, useless women, who need a strong male to be rescued:

VTUSvgY.jpg

There are also strong paternal roles:

But it's RE, so you know the drill:

After the women being useless for the last time:

:decline:

Chris gets the job done and brings the damsels home:

Verdict: :5/5:

But "new" areas are much weaker than the old ones, and even have a potentially game-breaking bug (don't pick up the "Stone Ring" in Lisa's cave, and you can't go back there - bug not present in the GC / Wii version).

Mods used: same as before

Next on the menu? RE2 of course. Sadly (?), the recent remake is an AIDS-ridden pile of shit, so there are only two possibilities: GC version or SourceNext / Classic Rebirth version. And since the latter is IMO inferior (640x480 only, japanese subs in movies, fewer options, no quicksaves), GC is the way to go. And why I consider only these two versions? Well, because of this OFC.

Comparison:

a) internal res, no texture pack:

b) 4x internal, no texture pack:

c) 4x internal, texture pack:

Not perfect, but damn good. :obviously:

Take cover Racoon City, here they come!

:yeah:
