Do you guys like the game so far? I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

btw I recall someone talking about the brick wall in the bank earlier and how they paid the guy outside to do it, just wanted to say it said I could use science and wanted me to pick a material to use so I went to the chemist and bought a bottle of hydrochloric acid that worked to melt the stones...

my detective's investigation skill was very high and i was simply able to see a loose brick and pull it out. it was depicted visually which was cool too

It's not an FPS issue. The way the characters move, zone transitions, opening up certain windows, it just feels off and not fluid.

Nobody said anything about FPS but you. If you have to enter commands multiple times for them to "take", your machine is fucked up. Sometimes it really is you.

Good lord the combat in this game fucking SUCKS. A lesson that is never learned apparently... don't design systems where you sit and wait awkwardly for 5 minutes for all the enemies (dogs, yay!) to shuffle around and do their slow ass animations.

Hi I just beat the game I downloaded barely a day ago. They aren't kidding when they say the game is short and ends with "some" loose ends.

Is it worth keeping the secret society medallion that an occult character starts with or can i safely sell it?

see an occult skillcheck dialogue that tells a guy he was being possessed by an evil spirit, use it to get the XP.

Someone tell me what is so bad abotu the combat? waiting for turns sucks but I just smoke weed or drink my cocktail while that's happening.. the combat isn;'t the greatest i'll admit but it's serviceable...

The combat is not bad at all. Yes it's a bit slow but what, are you in a rush or something? It's definitely serviceable and pretty darn rewarding when you successfully win a combat encounter.

Is it possible to get the note from 303 without getting the mob to come after you? I can't drink him under the table since I'm just a wimpy academic

Answering my question since I found a way, not that it felt natural...

If you are weak like my guy you have to boost your physique with some really expensive drugs:

Ferocity & Amfeta-man.

Why it didn't feel natural to me, is that you are only allowed to knock twice, and even if you say you will be back with the drink he requests, he will attack and try to kill you the next time you knock on the door. So you got to have everything prepared before you even knock. Just drink the shit, have a bottle of copperhead whiskey prepared and you are good to go. Boosted my physique up to 8 and that seemed to be enough.

You can use occultism in the room near 303 to take care of the occupant

So, atm on my cursed bloodline aristocrat i have points in occult, science, psychology and speechcraft. Thinking about branching out into medicine and investigation, is it viable?

Also, someone mentioned spells were useless - in the hotel you find the al razi spit spell - it usually oneshots crazies for me. The higher your occult and mind is, the more damage it does

Spells aren't useless, you just need to have enough SP to handle casting them, and also have the necessary supplies to replenish SP when you're running low.
