To me, from what I've noticed in some screens - the colors are bland and washed out like in so many new games.

Maybe people have different standards for graphics? I dunno. I thought Alpha Protocol was a good looking game when I played it in 2011, but apparently the graphics were a major point of criticism for the game back in the day.

Good i made a ethnic anti corpo cleaning in first city and still can pursue quests and main line. That's incline since fallout, game is really flexible and have many ways to solve some quests . But roleplaying low intellect , muscle with psycho attacks, who is pursung ancien aliens and cleanse all corporate shit on sight. For a plus, and big one, game let you kill anyone and still play just like in good old F1 or F2.

Wont say visuals are incredibly bad, its just another Xbox 360 game with no outstanding technology , exactly like fallout new vegas , pushing the console to its limits. Looks better than most console fps with rpg elements in my opinion as its colorful , landscape looks alien enough, a bit more original than usual with a firefly vibe. Run flawlessly on my old rig on very high settings, and i would even dare to say now obsidian means stable and bug free, never thought i 'd say that one day...So far good fun , c&c, nothing revolutionary but its a good fun game and fill a void left since nothing similar was released since fallout 4.

They've fucked up antialiasing and chromatic aberration. Game looks blurry with those on and the colors are all over the place.

They can be turned off in an .ini file. Then everything looks sharp but there are jagged edges everywhere and all the neon colors flicker. There's a lot of neon in this game.

I'm pretty much suffering through the graphics, it's incredibly ugly, irritating and disorientating. And the writing is starting to piss me off too, it has the unmistakable stench of hair dye, estrogen and vegan farts, similar to Andromeda.

After wasting about an hour on character creation, my advice is: Don't. Ingame it's gonna look like shit no matter what. Also, it seems you never even see your own character outside of the inventory screen, at least from what I've seen playing the game for a short while and watching youtube videos.

Anyway, here are my wasted efforts: I made two characters based off of the first female face. After getting rid of most of the ebonics (the mouth and jaw are a hopeless cause) and finding the two hairstyles that look vaguely feminine, I ended up with a strong Nord woman

At first I thought I misclicked somewhere along the way, but no, this is what they look like (graphics are ultra with very high shadows). The skin tones are completely wrong with both looking very tanned when I actually selected the pastiest white I could find, the freckles and scar are nonexistant, the hair color is off and Lucy looks like she's wearing a mop on her head. Also, the jaw and mouth look even worse somehow.

Don't waste your time with this garbage, but if you really have to, at least have the decency to pirate it. Don't reward this nonsense.

There's something about it, the vapidity, the constant attempts at wittiness, the verbosity, the "humour" (more like some socially awkward 20 year old girl's idea of what humour is)....It just feels as if most of this game was written by young women with jackshit life experience under their belt, not by 50 year old industry veterans.

Oh and whoever claimed the VO is great should be slapped across their mouth Batman style. The VO perfectly underscores the general aura of mediocrity. Dull voices reciting vapid texts.
