Dragon Age: Veilguard was desperately propped up initially but it failed to stick and many of those who foolishly bought it came to regret it.
Funnily enough, it isn't the nudity itself that I care for. It's the general 'vibe'. It starts with censoring nudity and sex appeal. Then the nuance falls away because that might offend the dysgenic freaks. It all leads to predictable slop - any grit or rough edges removed, resulting in overly preachy messaging and broken aesops in no small part because in the name of being written to be 'progressive' the protagonists end up coming off as completely tone deaf and spiteful in their crusade to 'seek justice'.

i am quoting these posts because DA Veilguard is exactly what i had to think about. i didn't play the game, i do not care to play it, but i wanted to know why hardly anyone enjoyed it. from what i have gathered (i would like to say that i was bored, but i wanted to know why that is; in my opinion people could have stopped at DA2) based on the reviews it received on steam and some gameplay footage, it is exactly because they removed any rough edges. no one cares about these npcs, companions, their story. they do not appear relatable to the audience and neither does your PC because he cannot disagree or interfere with any decisions made during your playthrough. they all roll on tracks and people do not enjoy it.

the audience wishes for some conflict, some racism, some different ideology and perspective. of course they also want some torture porn like in GOT.

LOL, I just learned that one of the first games by Naughty Dog way back in 1992 was... Rings of Power, a rpg for Sega Genesis!

ND should sue Amazon for the use of the name for their shitty tv series.

Even characters designs are similar.

Hopefully by the time this releases the general zeitgeist will have swung so far into based coomer territory that they'll slap a stellar blade ass on Ciri and reverse all the other tiresome modern dev trends.

I remember several people asked me to shamelessly insert her into my last porn game, so I anticipate the same for the vampire one.

Btw I didn't notice it at first but the trailer featured the creative EUrope media logo, which means that all Eurocucks are funding this shit, even if you're not considering buying the game.

Meh, the story about the dragon hunt expedition was going so well, but now Sapkowski wants to attack the paladin and paint him as a buffoon and a lunatic, which i knew he was going to but i didn't expect him to literally reference the Bible.

A bit on the nose bro. I guess Sapkowski is the kind of guy who likes to move Bibles in the fiction section of the book store.

BTW, given that Geralt is obviously his own self insert, that part about him bieng shunned with people going so far as throw rocks at him was clearly autobiographical. I mean i can only assume.

And STILL he did pay respect to the guy's military prowess. Granted, the knight got easily defeated by the dragon, but that was a very unusual dragon.

If it is true that they are using Unreal Engine now instead of RED Engine (either because all the who know how to operate it left, or because they decided it is no longer worth using), this would explain the differences between the models. They simply tried to recreate Ciri from TW3 in TW4, but couldn't make it 1:1, resulting in the Uncanny Valley effect.

Looks like a 50 year old who got a platysmaplasty while on her vacation in Turkey, supplements thyroid and progesterone, and haven't ate a carbohydrate since 1987.

The actual Ciri in the trailer looks like a disgusting fat swollen pig you'd see working the counter at a frog shop in pooland.

This is a cope. The difference isnt small, and its very intentional, they arent picking from a limited pool of presets, they are literally shaping it.

If you can call "she is looking like she had a plastic surgery" a cope, then I don't know what to say.

The difference isnt small [...]
I don't care if you consider it small or big. It is nevertheless noticeable.

[...] and its very intentional, they arent picking from a limited pool of presets, they are literally shaping it.
I know it is intentional. You don't make a 3D model by accident. My point is that whatever they reasons were, they failed, even if the goal was "only" to make her older.

:retarded:

Thank you for proving yet again that you can't read. My point always was that even if they tried to do 1:1 recreation (assuming best case scenario), they still failed. I doesn't really matter if it comes down to a new engine or lack of skill or whatever else. And taking that as a cope of some sort is utterly idiotic. If anything, this is yet another point against The Witcher 4. Because, you know, the best case scenario turning out this bad is not a good prognostic for the future.

The fact that I have to explain all this to you speaks volumes about you (in terms of your ability to read English and logic in general). And I don't even need to say that 2013 was a terrible year for posters for something like that. It is just you who are an opinionated piece of shit.

they didnt faggot
You're a jRPG fan here, not me.

You never said "if" before faggot, stop dodging and own up to your mistake.

No, it speaks volumes of your ability to communicate with people, faggot. You have had no issue understanding me, just explaining yourself.

You're a jRPG fan here, not me.
Havent played games from japan in over a decade. You are desperately trying to discredit me because you are, in fact, wrong (And a faggot).

Because, you know, the best case scenario turning out this bad is not a good prognostic for the future.
At this point whomever thinks that will be good is deluding themselves, we can agree on that.
