On another note, this game is great, and you really need to fit the right mastery sets together to have a chance in the more difficult missions.

Does this thing heat up your computer like a toaster oven or is it less graphically intensive? Reason I ask is because I just recently bought Mechanicus and it's a fire hazard. My machine is about 2 years old but I don't want to throw her out just yet, I have a thing with abandoned children.... Guys?
My old computer had a problem heating up with games that shouldnt get it there. Never had a problem with this one when i ran it at low graphical settings.

Same. I have a crusty laptop. The game does run a bit hot on medium or higher settings but if you lower the graphic settings ( I run second to the lowest) it doesn't get hot at all.

The one with this guy

and over 90 other enemies
damn Pink Helmet soloed half of my wounded squad

I just finished that mission last night. After pink horn one-shot my healer, I had my last striker shin-kick him repeatedly until Albus, Sion and Irene managed to arrive and dog-pile him.
Got a nice umbrella out of it.

Does the game get better? Very repetitive right now and easy.

I have one follower and two jurisdictions. My chars are ~about~ 15 lvl.

Hard.

All I have to do currently is spam the same attacks over and over again.

And since attacks can autopilot you to the destination if you double click on the icons, I don't even have to navigate the levels/maps on my own.

That's around the point when the game starts to really ramp up in challenge, around level 15. However, if that's how you're getting through missions, you've either been grinding a bunch or you're not actually playing on Hard.

Also highly likely troll account.

My bad. Didn't realize that I was out-leveling the missions. I was paying too much attention to the "hard, very hard, super hard" labels. I expected the labels to adjust downward to reflect my team's increasing strength, which they do not AFAIK. The game has a lot of stuff going on, but no manual. (Wiki is not very helpful unless you are looking for tables of stats.)

Missions are hard/very hard when you are at the level of the enemies. If you are outleveling them you probably should keep doing story missions to advance the plot and open new missions.

I'm on higher level and haven't unlocked second jurisdiction yet.
Only repeated 1st repeatable mission before I realised that missions are mostly hand-crafted.

Is there any reason to re-play them besides grinding or hoping for specific loot drop?

Additional jurisdictions will be unlocked when you get more characters with troubleshooter licenses.
So it depends on game progress only, not on character level.

Some story missions might play out differently depending on your choices.
There's one particular mission that you can play with any of your available characters, each giving different rewards and masteries.
Non-story repeatable missions are mainly just for xp/masteries/loot farming, which would be inevitable if you're planning to do any more or less serious crafting.

Btw, there 2 different ways to increase difficulty.
First is the basic difficulty modes - Normal, Hard, Cruel.
And then there's additional "Challenging" setting available for each of the difficulty modes, that makes all the enemies to match your highest level character.
This makes even early game missions to remain difficult for high-level teams.

It also gives enemies additional masteries and abilities.

@Taka-Haradin puolipeikko Besides all the reasons Nortar listed, another reason you might want to re-do repeatable missions, especially on hard+ difficulty, is to find special enemies that might have really useful items or masteries.

Oh and also to complete side-quests you get in Shoot street, which is an easy way to get a nice chunk of relationship points with the merchants (each time you level up the relationship level with a merchan you get access to a better tier of items with said merchant) and access to item sets that improve your loot collection abilities, though some of the side-quests requiring to collect specific items can be bypassed with crafting.

Not that I'm aware of. Grinding doesn't even seem to be a reason, at least in the "early" game - my team is level 30 and I've been above the recommended mission level the entire game so far. (+xp Masteries - wow.)

Getting a specific drop is a big deal though. For me the main joy in playing is acquiring Masteries and building sets, and some Masteries are hard to find. So replaying a mission makes sense to me sometimes.

Not a spoiler, just a long story:
I saw a White Mage Mastery called Miracle, which gives a 30% per use for any healing ability to use no Vigor! I wanted that badly, but I needed Luck to research it, which I didn't have access to, so I kind of forgot about it. Later, it slowly dawned on me ... didn't I see a boss use Luck in the middle of a fight? I bet I can get him to drop it. I didn't remember who it was exactly but decided it must have been in the first "six boss" mission. Perhaps appropriately, I was fortunate enough to have Luck drop from the guy on my first replay. Turns out Miracle is not only great by itself, it's part of some neat Mastery Sets. That's the first and only time I have replayed a mission so far.
