While I very much enjoyed Memoirs of a Battle Brothel and the reputation/faction system (and I have no idea of the scope of this project) I highly recommend stealing some ideas from this talk: https://youtu.be/1OrUhqgueAE . The pinned comments and some of the other comments also offer ways/examples of generating reactivity using tagging, pre-planing. Especially since you explicitly mentioned F:NV it bears mentioning.

You're not wrong there. We're running them through some other software to remove the fuglyness, to where they're almost presentable. Not quite there yet, but I think we're making strides.

Consider how Wildermyth's simple art style led to the ability of creating more expressive/adaptable characters (while they use procedural generation and you probably won't). Stylized art would stand out from other Daz models, even if it's just a filter on top of everything.

Also, you've mentioned before in your discord channel that you haven't played any/many 3D adult games. Since you're making one and would probably like to a) Know what your competition visually is on that front so you can stand out and b) See where/why people might have a stigma against 3d adult games (So that you can convince them that you're different). I'd suggest you check out this channel's video's https://youtu.be/1LsBnI5Z7d8 especially the monthly round ups. A lot of the games use Daz renders, as you could soon tell. The channel's discord also has a separate channel with/for creators that like talking about this stuff so you don't have to play all games in the scene individually to be able to get more of an understanding of what the market of 3D adult games looks like. You probably won't be able to beat the visuals/models/animation of something like Operation Lovecraft: Fallen Doll (which is also vaguely "gritty" sci-fi/fantasy) but one thing I can say immediately is that very few of them have as robust of a faction/reputation system as MoaBB.

With regards to adult RPG's from the lineage of this site (cRPG's) you should maybe check out how Team Deer's Price for Freedom: Avarice, and the Top Patreon's and Steam games in the videos of the channel I just linked to see what the market at this moment likes when it comes to adult games. The previously mentioned discord also had speculation on where the trend is heading which could be handy information to have since you'll be releasing this game Atleast 3+ years from now.

In regards to Daz3D, I would have to agree with the majority that Daz assets veer (or dive headfirst) into uncanny valley. The reasons for this have been discussed ad nauseam in adult dev circles (I have been cheating, and talking to devs about their processes instead of actually playing their games). I would not have gone ahead with Daz if we didn't have a way of mitigating this, and I think my artist did a great job so far.

And if you've been following me so far, you'll probably know I have a thing for monumental challenges - as long as they are efficient. I chose RPGMaker because it was simply the most efficient, low-resource engine for what I wanted to build. The same is true for Daz.

Both RPGMaker and Daz have a notorious reputation in their fields, since they are both user-friendly, low cost software. Overcoming this stigma is difficult.

Overcoming this stigma to produce a large, polished cRPG that is both critically and financially successful? That is the kind of challenge that appeals to me.

And while it more or less fits the narrative there, this seems to be whole other kind of game. I d say go for AoD aesthetics instead.

Yeah both PRGM and Daz have notoriously bad rep and rightfully so mostly thanks to looots of retards complete amateurs which are working with them. Treasure of Nadia, the game from that link above is one of the most successful adult games currently and it's done on RPGM, actually. Being a DIK's author, who works on his project all by himself (allegedly), showed that it's possible to mitigate Daz3d's uncanny valley effect by a great deal paying due regard to posing, model mimics, post-processing and so on. It all comes down to skills and talent rather than the tools.

On topic, I'm in the camp that the name sucks, primarily due to "Vampire Gangs". It just sounds silly and unnecessary, are there no non-Vampiric gang members? I'd say drop the "Vampire" from the title. But I hate Vampires so I may just be biased.

I propose a sexy witch waifu vampiress that offers the player sex but shortly turns into a 100 year old withered corpse with worms and skin lesions and unnaturally ugly evil body. She tells the player to retain her youth she needs to go swallow the souls of the few kids in a incubated state downstairs. Player can choose be her enemy but she is somehow keeping everyone SAFE in the community of vampirefall if he does so.

To build her relationship the player has to accept nightmares of stuff like beetles bursting out of his skin leaving 2-3 inch skin lesions on their entire body. So basically its like dating a comically evil entity like stephen kings IT.
