No way unless she was trying to pass as a man when the siring happened, like those women who fought in wars as men. There are historical examples.
Hey, thanks for the character idea.

So they changed the main protagnist from a new born vampire(which you can createfrom stretch) without a clanyet to an elder vampire with preset personallity and full voice acting.

This decision just has "mainstream the shit out of this game or get fired* writes all over it.

Reception to this seems to be negative across all sites (even among their lib-left target market)

So what exactly did the mainstream not like about this?

tl;dr there are now rules about having a penis

I bet anything the Devs respond to this and ignore all other criticism.

Over 90% of the dialogue choices in the original game had like 3 dialogue choices.

That is not exactly true. Only 4 answers could be displayed at the same time, but internally there were 9 lines possible depending on different conditions, with one reserved for the NPC. And quite often all of these lines were used which made adding new lines for the patch a problem.

Vampires can't cut their hair?
You can, for like 12 hours. Then it just grows back up. Satanic black magic, sick shit.
Until the next daytime slumber, specifically.
So just skip the snooze?
Yes, that would prevent unconscious regeneration. But it'd also leave the vampire groggy and barely able to act, even once the Sun went down again.

Like I said earlier, one can just handwave this away by assuming the character is cutting and styling their hair every time they wake up (scenes you don't actually see in-game, at least as far as the original Bloodlines goes).

Of course if Phyre wakes up looking like that, forget it. Lousy decision either way.

Maybe some of you lore gurus can help me out. I had the theory, and people on Reddit as well, that Phyre is indeed in Fabien's body which would explain the modern hair. But then I rewatched the video and Phyre clearly talks about the mark on her hand and that she was covered in Thinblood vitae and not that she is in another body. So this theory is out, but maybe a Thinblood alchemy experiment failed. Anybody know anything about this?
