one Orc genocide
1. It's Ork, ya zoggin' grot.
2. Good luck, this is how you raise relations with Orks.

You have declared a personal trade war against the orks.

  • +5 ork reputation

You have brutally crushed their forces and driven them back from the contested system.

  • +50 ork reputation

Fucking chaos is more honest and have more reasons(You can't really tempt someone, or convince them to worship you, if you have nothing to offer) to give you some benefits than the Eldars, which speaks volumes.

Look at all you loyalists, eh? Hehe

At this point this has NOTHING to do with the Emperor (may he protect us).

We're literally saying we'd rather deal with fucking CHAOS than eldar. And I'd rather take a virusbomb to the face than deal with chaos.

In fact, the only faction I'd rather deal with Eldar are the Tyranids. And that's because they're fucking 'Nids.

Dark Eldars, while being more honest wit themselves and their motives, do put more value in human's life. They see humans as resource to be tortured for their hedonistic pleasure, and to ward off Slaanesh just a little bit longer by their depravity.
Sure their tech is valuable but as a counterweight we have their inevitable betrayal. Which can lead to a trip into their spiky city, a trip you really don't want to make.
To be Fair, Exodite Eldar are slightly more reasonable. And the Eldar that appear in the RT pnp game are the most reasonable of the lot, being willing to honor their deals, as otherwise no-one would like to play with them or have an adventure that features them.

They have no redeeming values and they'll betray you sooner than later
and... what's the difference with regular spehs elves?
Dark Eldar don't bother pretending they are in the right unlike regular elves, and DE have demonstrated being caapble of researching and advancing their tech much better than the regular Eldar, who have invented... Nothing at all, ever, IIRC.

Now I know what you're thinking: "why did is he pasting this from Twitter, instead of the usual large and cool images they have on YT?"

Well it's because Owlcat, in all their mighty "wisdom", decided to make this picture really, really tiny. Which is uncool, but also perfectly fit for Twitter. I hope this is NOT the new norm.

In any case, here it is:

Hey Owlcat_Eyler fix your twitter guy's English! There shouldn't be any "the" before "sky" in that phrase.

Ah yes, the Exodites that will feed you to dinosaurs for stepping on their Maiden Worlds. And plenty of Eldar of all stripes are willing to honour a deal, in fact, like the fey the Eldar are akin to, making a deal with the Eldar is likely one of the only times you can actually trust them, although you can also trust them to know exactly how far they can twist the rules of said deal without breaking it.

Dark Eldar are regular Eldar. Dark Eldar tech is a regression of Eldar technology, because they stunted their psychic capabilities and have to resort to making extremely advanced, but rudimentary by Eldar standards, technology instead.

The Dark Eldar absolutely think they're in the right too. Because to the Eldar, you are cattle. You are so evolutionary, psychically, and intellectually stunted compared to them that they don't consider you to be truly alive - Therefore killing billions of you isn't murder, or in any way an ethical quandary. An Eldar may take interest in you the way we take interest in our pets, and they might be "fair" in their dealings with you, but "fair" in the Eldar mind is not fair in yours, and the only "in the right" is "what benefits the Eldar". They're all dying, they all know it, and they act accordingly.

You really all learned lore from 4chan and memereddit eh?

The infinity circuits, hearts of actual craftworlds that keep eldar souls is postfall tech, for example.

Same as titans for the IoM.
The major factions do some progress now and then. Though it's going with the speed of a glacier.
Lore wise Necrons did their research, or rather the automated systems of their tombs did it, for all their nappy time.

Also, still no beta key... damn it.

And i dont see much problem in it, since 40k main features always were anachronismus , being regressive, scrapping for tech from now bygone eras and so on.
If anything it would be amusing for some new units not to appear, but old ones disappear and get replaced with more primitive looking ones. Instead we get shit like tracked tanks replaced by antigrav tanks with obvious modern warfare designs.

GW could actually make it work. IoM machines at this point do have souls/machine spirits. Which is not some barebones pseudo A.I.
They could divide Mechanicus on this one, by that I mean dogma conflict rather than open war(we already have Dark Mechanicus for that), one starting to go back to more paradigm and something akin scientific method based approach.
The conservative parts entrenching themselves even more in ADMech religious dogma.(We already have subfactions and forgerworlds that already do stuff like this, but I'm talking on grander scale.)
Resulting in having two different versions or outright designs of machines. Where one maybe more advanced and have bigger fire power/production output yet for example being weak to chaos corruption or potentially even possessed by demons, and vice versa for conservative design with the addition of benefits from machine spirits, like machine being actively capable of resisting chaos, taking over some functions that weren't coded into it, or keep working while some vital components should have rendered it broken.
Could be incorporated quite easily since IoM is now split in two.

But this would need writers who know what they're doing, and moneymen that don't make their job even harder.
So at this point I would like GW to just not fuck things up even more than they already have.
