The overhyping is strong in this one : "infinite skills combination", "endless possibilities"... Also, Wasteland 2 apparently features a "huge open world" now. Isn't this gonna come back to bite them one day?

Probably. Technically they might be right though, you can reach large parts of the world right from the start.
Of course the radiation zones serve as a form of poorly disguised story gating for some areas and anyway many gamers will probably expect something Skyrim/Fallout 3 style when reading "huge open world"...

I played about 20 hours into this upon initial release and found I really wasn't enjoying it much at all.

For some reason, this DC has got me completely hyped. I can't wait to try it again. Hoping my reservations about this game are proved completely wrong.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
So it seems that attributes are not changed so the weird intelligence thresholds will remain, right? What changed are the Perks which might be bound to attributes if I understand correctly? I want to plan my teams composition already :D

That's a shame. I kind of had a feeling that was the case since they weren't hyping it up.

I never equipped a single piece of armor. :P

Didn't bother customizing clothes either for that matter.

That's because it's largely without effect.
Most of the time the enemy armor penetration is equal or higher than your parties armor value, so one might as well not wear armor.
There are a few exceptions, but I guess that staying ahead of enemy armor penetration would mean investing a lot of scrap or forgoing speed (if it's possible at all).

Why would you post that here?

Do you really think anybody on the codex would play an RPG on a CONSOLE? Let alone the worst one of them, the fail-box !11oneone

The reddit page is also directed at Xbox users. Useless garbage.

If any codexers would wanna play it on console, should result in an automatic ban.

They will probably answer questions about the Director's Cut regardless of platform, they're just holding the AMA on the Xbox Reddit to get console users interested in buying the game.

I really really hope after 1+ year and so much patching this game will be playable on day1. I waited enough to do my first true play through.

I bet you also named your characters things like "lockguy" and "talkydude". :decline:

From what I know, Perks are primarily bound to skill levels. We know they're definitely not bound to character level. It seems that once again Attributes are a non-factor, though that isn't as explicit as I'd like.

There are no character level requirements on perks, only skill requirements.

It's Fallout 4 that has Perks bound only to Attribute levels.

Anyway, even so I'm with you ... going crazy wanting to get my party design in order. At this point we're just going to have to wait for Tuesday (and I'm going to have to hope that someone with a faster connection than me posts the rest of the Perk and Quirk requirements and other data while my shit is still downloading).

I've been filling the hole in my Wasteland 2 heart by trying to get people to draw my characters. Got some surprisingly good pieces, check the gallery. :)
