I started with 6 skills on every guy (1 point each), except the perception guy who got 5 skills and Perception L2. Everybody got 1 long range weapon and one close weapon.

Playing on supreme jerk with this setup was quite challenging and I had to use pipebombs, tnt and a mangler(bazooka) on the asshole rabbits to get through, but once my hp started to increase and I had 2-3 points in skills things started going a bit smoother.

If I were to restart I'd probably grind random encounters to level 3 before doing anything else and than go to the quest sites. And don't waste ammo on shooting all the damn pods in Ag Center.

And I still would like someone to explain how to collect an intact pod.

I finally was able to make a team I was satisfied with. Also made some custom portraits for them.

Now I can finally start playing this game. :kwafuckyeah:

Stop if this is a silly question, but have you tried walking instead of running?
I remember in the beta, Lawson said if you approach slowly you can get to the pods without explosion. The next (real time) day, a hotfix patch was released that removed the ability to walk, so I never found out if that worked.
If you don't know how to walk: go to options and disable "Always Run". Then you walk by default and double click to run.

A burning question as dawn breaks into day here:

Is there a way to
kill the mutant plants at Ag Center using the serum? The scientist said something about eastern greenhouse but I can't seem to access it.

Looking at Zombra's characters he didn't give any of them less than 4 INT so they could all get 3SP / Level or more.
That, and INT is very much a "break point" stat. It's grossly inefficient to have a value that isn't 1, 4, 8, or 10. Since I don't like the idea of a 1 INT character unless idiocy is part of the concept, I consider 4 to be the true "base". I still wish they'd gone with fractional skill points so every point of INT mattered.

Unfortunately walking doesn't stop them from exploding and there is no skill that activates them anyway. If you're quick you can run and grab the contents of a crate that's right near a pod then run away again and the pod "calms" down. Maybe a special item is needed ?

Agreed, and the jump from 4 to 8 for another SP seems a little too large. ANd then its just a 2 point jump to get another SP. Seems odd

I wonder how many copies Inxile need to sell to start to gain profit from Wasteland 2...

Infinitron, do your magic man!

טוב

It depends how you define "profit". They spent about 2.5 million dollars of their own money on Wasteland 2, and another 2.5 million of our money. The former amount includes $700,000 of Brian Fargo's personal savings - he's already made that back.

I guess they'd need to sell about 90,000 copies to make back the entire 2.5 million, but it's not like they need to. Unlike Larian they don't owe a bunch of money to banks and investors, and the next game is only a Kickstarter away.

I found a tortoise lying on its back, how to I flip it?
Brute force
I don't have that skill :( But I used a shovel to bury it alive.

LOL COOL!!! this game is soooo great!!!

But, NOOOOO!!!

Listen to me...

If you flip him over and follow him (for about 20 mintues - i'm not joking) - you'll get lots of good stuff !!!
Yeah, I reloaded and tried other skills too. Apparently it also flips if you use 'animal whisperer' on it.

Nice.

But pay attention:
Please put spoiler tags around those kind of massages... we don't want to ruin the game for everybody :)

Thank you.
