Game is glitchy as hell:

- Shadows moving in weird patters while enemies move.

- Cannot sellect spot to walk to in combat behind a wall. Have to turn camera even though cursor cleary sees the location.

- Cannot select crates and such when they are behind walls even though they highlight and rangers are in the room. have to rotate again.

Usability nitpickings:

Please make it optional to have the camera keep the same angle when zooming out.

When out of combat it's annoying there's no reload all option having to swap everything out

When ive got a pistol as secondary on a character, and i have a new pistol in inventory: don't compare it to my main machine gun. Better yet compare it to both my weapons.

Why does an open doorway block my view ?

Still, it hasn't crashed on me yet and having a blast.

Weirdstuffinspace when in group mode (space), reload (R) and everybody will reload their current weapon.

So R, X, R, and everyone has reloaded their primary and secondary weapons within 1 second.

What you're experiencing is the "gambler's fallacy." You're assuming that because you have a 61% chance to succeed, you must necessarily have a 1/2 (roughly) chance of succeeding the roll.

Huh? He does have a 1/2 (roughly) chance of succeeding the roll.

Gambler's fallacy would be thinking that if he misses this roll he's due to win next time

My phrasing was pretty screwed there. I mean that there's an assumption that 1 out of every 2 rolls must necessarily succeed.

Some of you will be happy to know that we backed off on gun jamming % a bit. Was a tad frustrating but sure great when the enemy did.

There was no reason to fucking change this. Again, what the fuck were all these gun jam complaints about?

:bro::bro::bro:

Those complaints come from filthy casuals.

It makes the combat more unpredictable and interesting.

The coming patches seem to be very disapointing so far.

Apparently you didn't experience 4 members having having gun jams one after another in the same turn.

No, I didn't. What am I, fucking magical?

Does gun jam likelihood go down with increased points in your chosen weapons?

He's talking about the devious hidden code that causes most of your squad's guns to jam two or three times in a row when you've stumbled into a badger's nest. :troll:

Speaking of which, you have got to be fucking kidding me:

I already used two bazookas on the last group, fuck that. I'll come back later when I have better guns.

Tons of consecutive jams have happened to me, but I deal with it when it happens. The best way is to have everyone carry two or three grenades just in case. Those of you masturbating yourselves over how totally rad and hardcore you are for not grumbling about jams, no one cares.

Point is, lots of jamming has happened to me before, and I do grumble about it when it happens; that doesn't mean I can't deal with it, and it's not the same as complaining that it should be changed. I think jamming is funny more than frustrating.

Learn the difference between self-congratulatory vitriol-spewing and reasonable statements of fact.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
It's not about "fucking casuals".
It's about having a gun with 3% jam chance actually jam only in 3% of cases. Lying numbers are worse than lying people.

I'm sure if you calculated the averages it would come out to about 3%. It's just that you burst a lot.

Jamming needed to be balanced, not reduced. Complex weapons should have a higher chance of jamming, and heavy weapons should have been moddable to be more stable without being able to completely eliminate it.

I already used two bazookas on the last group, fuck that. I'll come back later when I have better guns.

I saved my bazooka for that big group. I had the advantage of picking up an HK33 from raiders in the south around the prison, and plenty of pipe bombs to take care of the others. They would have wiped out my party if I wasn't able to hit 5 of them for 150 damage each.

The funny thing is that we could never prove the numbers are lying, unless we looked at the code...

Don't different weapons have different jamming chances as it satnds? I've seen some with 3%, some with 7%, and at least one weapon mod to reduce jamming chance.

My party buckled down and picked up Angela. Level 9 and both Level Up Mine & the Rail Thieves are a bit too much for my party and I don't want to farm XP in the wasteland. Alternatively, I might reroll with attribute distribution that isn't completely wacko...

For those who finished game, is there a lot of reactivity for AgC/Highpool decision further down the line?

I second these.

Whiny crybabies.

"pparently you didn't experience 4 members having having gun jams one after another in the same turn."

You just suck. i've seen enemies jam back to back. R00fles Indeed! Even better when their enxt shot likely would have dropped one of mine. Heh.

And, onyl fellow dirty casual care about your whining. Badgers just don't care about your jamming guns.

More bellyaching. maybe the game shouldn't just make a roll. Have your jammming happen on every 33rd should so it'll be predictable. HAHA! Talk about exploitation.

Bros, sorry for the rant, this is about STEAM

I have used computers since 1979 and I can ALWAYS find my fucking files in some fashion, but the last 2 games I install using steam this BS happens, and its fucking infuriating. I want to be able to use custom portraits instead of the ugly gay ass 3d 'take a portrait' BS, but I can't fucking find my install files. How in the fuck can I get some of those better looking portraits I see everybody else using, I cant fucking do this STEAM shit its too 'user friendly' or something, its hiding shit from me and I can't figure it out.

I also went looking for the in game portrait files to recreate the team I made in beta. I gave up when I found an album with the beta portraits. If you want say Ranger1's, Ranger2's, Ranger3's and Ranger4's face they are in there alongside many of the recruitable NPC's.

Yes, the Mag mods will reduce jamming a lot or slightly for magazine fed guns. It's still really silly that simple little revolvers are just as likely to jam as an Uzi, and that there doesn't seem to be any real rhyme or reason behind the varying jam rates. Bowling being the exception.

Hey! Hey Volly. Fuck you! The problem is that the game makes a roll based on a god knows what system, because it is sure as hell that 3% jam is not 3%

Anyway, I'm fighting at the prison, and I'm having a hell of a good time. No way combat is boring, fighting 5v10 is so satisfying.

Hey, everyone knows that 'roll ranges' in games are almost always out of wack or at least 'feels' out of wack. Afterall, since hitting your target is more common you are less likely to remember. But, if your gun jams that's A BIG DEAL tm so youa re more likely to remember it.

So despite mod that would reduce weapon jam rates to 0%, there is a chance that it will still jam?

I didn't see energy weapons' 'jam' (understandable given less moving parts but risk of overcharging or power failure precluded) figure in their descriptions. So if you want to avoid from this chance altogether, then better stick to energy or melee weapons?

Nearly from the start I had cheap mag mod installed on all my teams AR and don't think any ever, ever jammed in the entire game after that. Same for sniper rifle. For shotgun, they sucked anyway and never relied on my shotgun dude for anything, only my 2 ARs and sniper, so never really noticed the jams until he got the auto shotgun, and even then, wasn't terrible.
All in all, just install cheap mag mods, that'll bring down jam chance % to 0, and use the same mag mod in all guns upgrades after that, getting rid of jam % forever.
