Since when did we move to this world where having an informed opinion of something doesn't matter anymore? Its like a restaurant critic, are you going to take his review seriously if he writes a review but he has never eaten at the restaurant?

Fair point, but the problem is that the elements that serve as the biggest turnoffs for some people aren't gameplay-related. The experience of watching a half-elf paladin kissing some dude's foot is the same whether you watch it within the game itself or just see it in a youtube video.

This individual knew exactly what he was doing: spreading degeneracy for clout/shekels. A proper Ashkenazi stratagem.
Is it me or his nose sharpened through the years?

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Not until its price drops to 10 dorra and it's on 75% discount.

Not even then.

Be like torturing me to watch Disney Star Wars or Indiana Jones. Even the porn stuff in the game is a turn off. Imagine someone remastered all the classic pornstars and the AI-d them for a modern audience. Like a digital re-release of Baywatch with Caitlyn Jenner instead of Erika Eleniak.

That's what I see when I look at BG3.

BG3 is on hiatus because DnD 5E is crap.

I wouldn't go quite that far, Solasta works quite well as a 5e game because its modest "scale" fits the ruleset. But it's far too boring for the whizz-bang type of ultra-super-fun-time game action that Larian want to make, that's for sure.

You can almost feel the developers chafing and chomping at the bit when you play the game, just in the way everything is tweaked.

Spoilers.

So I watched this: https://youtu.be/evs8wrZhZdw

Where this Withers character (who's apparently Jergal, but comes across to me as voice actor channeling Irenicus) states that the laws of the planes suggest a character with bhaal's essence/blood cannot escape him, and after dying becomes one ofthe faithless doomed to wander the fugue plane for eternity.

So my question is: have they specified what historically happened to the bhaal spawn? Because everytime I have the slightest inkling to maybe give this game a chance, I look up a video on Youtube to see how they handled past characters & the lore, and all I end up seeing is a big pile of shit. And it's not even a funny big pile of shit. The dialogue has to be the most boring I've seen in a game - and it's off. Like the writer is "lacerating faerun".

"Lacerating the world". Fuck. So not only was it written by an autist trying to be talented, but they try with 'War and Peace' levels of text with every exchange. And then (just in case you didn't get how talented they are) you get the narrater providing an explanatory narrative to the text & dialogue as well.

Its in character for Withers to speak that way, him being the god of accountants and all.

They all died. Abdel Adrian/BG MC got shanked by the rando NPC you meet at the beginning of ToB, Viekang, who teleports away.
BG3 Bhaalspawn, like the entirety of the game, is essentially fake since he was made by Bhaals "blood" directly somehow.

Actually since Wizards own the characters, and the game was successful, they are realer than everything else you know, and will star in future games, tabletop campaigns, books, comics and maybe even some films.
Of course. Larian and WotC are a match made in a gay wedding in San Franscisco.

Apperantly not, given that they've already divorced. So it was more of a drunk Las Vegas type wedding.
And WotC got to keep all the kids, so you should mentally prepare to see pictures of them posted all over her timeline.

I don't know why, but in my mental empire they always were cat people, not frog people. I can't quite get used to her.
Also a bulgarian soap opera actress is voicing her, which is extra weird.
