Even in 1996 they were considering the name "The New World" which Colony Ship was initially called but says that "there are so many things wrong with that one". Boyarsky's name was "The Rust Age" which IMO isn't a bad one.

Tim Cain: Programmer Chris Jones did that secretly (along with my head exploding in the credits), and my face was only supposed to show up in the rare situation (rare in 1997) that someone set Windows to show Large icons. Now that setting is the default, so you get my face.

I think the main problem isn't the fact that it would have nothing to do with Vault 13, it's having numerals in the first game. You can't just call it Vault 13 2: Electric Vaultaloo.

Interesting thing is that among a few names suggested by marketing department, there were games in the future that had similar names. I guess marketing departments all work the same.

I enjoy listening to Uncle Tim in these YT vids. Nice to see him so prolific with it. I expected to see maybe 3 or 4 videos per year or something like your typical old developer. But 25 in a month or two?! When folks get old and their minds drift back to their good ol' glory daze and they start a'ramblin', at least have it be about a subject that interests me. Bless Tim and his ramblin' man ways. He's informative and deserves a collective codex brofist.
