You guys are really killing me with these digs at Yoshinari's art. Especially implying that he's not a distinguished artist. Go watch Kill La Kill and tell me he's not amazing. Even BNA, which is probably his worst work, looks fantastic when compared to anything similar.

If they are smart they would give acthually good modding tools to community and give prize money to TOP5 best mods (voted by community + CDPR panel of judges) annually. No. 1 would be further co-developed with CDPR writers and coders into official DLC, modding team would get 20% of net profit from sales, and job offers once coopeartion is done. I'd do paid mods that way
In a perfect world we would see quality mods that improves the main design issues of the game, bug / stabilty fixes etc in that TOP5 best mods. But in reality we would see anime waifu companions and other useless dumbfuck mods for average Redditor.

Just finished episode 3. I have to say that I'm really enjoying it. There's something very nostalgic about it. They really nailed down the feeling of something created in the 80s. At one point in the first episode I felt like I was watching Bubblegum Crisis. The soundtrack is really good so far as well. There's tits and gore everywhere, which is new for Trigger, and something else that contributes to it feeling like an older anime.

One of my complaints so far is that they went a little too hard on making it like the game. Any time there is a phone call in the anime its just as annoying as in the game with the same UI popping up and same ringtone that V used. I'm also pretty sure the MC lives in the same apartment building as V. I also feel like Trigger went a little too hard on the pastels. It's not so bad that it makes it unwatchable to me like Promare was, but I'm not a fan.

8/10 so far. I think this might be a good anime to show to the kind of person who only really likes anime from the 80s and 90s and thinks everything made after 2009 is shit.

Might give it a watch for the visuals, but - going by the trailer - don't really like the various character designs.
the visuals are good, its a well animated show, just a shame the backgrounds are traceovers from the game. The character designs are dreadful though, At the start of the show they have correct proportions, by the end they are so ridiculous due to all the modifications they've had that they're pretty dreadful to even look at.

The problem I have with the show is that cyberware isn't something they should be swapping out on a whim because it's really expensive and a very invasive procedure otherwise everyone would just look like Adam Smasher, we don't really see any growth in the characters they're all pay to win so they never really have to earn the powers they get which makes it difficult to have empathy for them. They shouldn't have just jumped into cyberware from the start it does ruin the show. Its sort of like if you let Goku go Super Saiyan from the get go.

plus they basically show in the first episode the dangers of cyberware because his mother dies

I also think 10 episodes was too short. I think a good show should at least aim for 20 episodes.

Well, they're planning on renewing it for further seasons if it does well. And on that note, does the current series end on a cliffhanger or is it a self-sustained story from beginning to end?

They had "lore accurate physics" in the scenes with cars, though I don't think I saw anyone t-pose or slide on the ground, do better trigger.

Still better than the video game (not a high bar), in a general quality sense as well as conceptually; as the game was an unfocused mess trying to copy modern open world design and give the players as many pointless options as possible while the Animu stuck to it's core ideas(at the cost of being kinda shallow in the plot department).

It is funny to see exact opposite arguments that either C77 was too much like GTA and then that it wasn't GTA enough.

Well, at least everyone agrees that CP77's GTAness was not at an appropriate level.

Another utterly forgettable show from Netflix that nobody will remember or talk about 5 years from now.
Perfect match for the game though.

E: The whole accelerator implant the MC gets is pure fantasy from the start, lets him move 10? times faster despite being completely natural, his body would've disintegrated.

It's a a desire for more, (my desire is correct theirs is wrong).

Yes, the core gameplay sucks because it's an open world outpost cleaner RPG and it doesn't have enough immersive crap to distract you from it.

IT has enough sidequests and main story for about 70-80 hours which is where it starts to feel like you said.
I think issues is that some people just can't help themselves and if they see something they must do something and then complain why "game forced me to do this"

Basically TW3 POI 2.0 issue. At least C77 managed to hide most of those poi at start and they really hide almost all with patch 1.4 i think. Someone there finally understood that people who want to explore themselves like to find stuff on their own rather than to wait for game to tell you X is here or Y is there.

Impressive the numbers pulled even with then pulling the rug on release. Well if anything positive releasing mod tools will guarantee this game longevity? I don't expect overhaul to turn this game into an actual RPG because that would require to redo the entire thing, but I can kinda hope for a more aggressive AI and interesting elements in combat to be implemented.

Still on a business perspective would be retarded to fully drop an IP like CP2077 to go for another Witcher, in terms of being able to shit more products CP > Witcher. At this point Geralt story is done, what the fuck they are gonna do? Oh shit nekkers again let me use my witcher vision again to get those fuckers.
While CP you can fucking do a Trauma Team game, Maxtac, a cop game, do an actual RPG this time :popamole:
