I have no idea how this guy plays through these games so quickly and 100% no less.
He defines 100% the game as getting all the achievements and he's been caught before with achievements that were glitched and impossible to get at the time which meant he used an achievement program to get it. He gave some excuse for it but I don't think he's actually 100% these games. It's just a marketing gimmick.

What a load of baloney. He mentions in the videos when he encounters glitched or impossible achievements. Check the timestamps, the achievements were gotten naturally: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Mortismalgaming/stats/1658920/?tab=achievements

Here's his full profile: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Mortismalgaming/games/?tab=all

He has been caught adding them secretly. If later on in some other video he mentioned it, that doesn't change anything.

If you think he finds games on release that have no walkthrough or even information on how stats exactly work (which is usually figured out later by gamers) and beats them in one week then go ahead and think that I guess.

He's been caught doing it before and has probably just gotten better at hiding it.

Yeah, that´s very interesting and relevant. Anyway, has anyone played this lately? Is it good now?
Despite some balance fixes the core gameplay has not changed and it's just not fun(?) enough.
I could not even finish my templar themed run.
It's not absolute shit, as it has the right bits in it, but still it's not good enough to spend your time when there are better games to play.

That was basically my opinion at launch too. Some good stuff, reasonably fun, yet given that you have so much stuff to choose from, it was hard to feel like picking it back up.

It is better than at release, but some of the core issues still remain:
- Horrible optimization, especially in menu screens (FPS limit is not enabled there)
- Still no simulteanous movement of your characters FFS (ie, you need to wait for each character to complete his move before ordering another one)
- Many abilities are still subpar (costing an action for little benefit), making level up a non-decision in many cases
- A new character of level 4 remains less expensive than paying to level yours, and there is no trait, so all characters of a given class are identical (if you didn't spec them differently for a reason), which means there is not much variety.

So I still stand by my initial impressions: it is reasonably competent, but flawed, and at this stage, I doubt the remaining flaws will get addressed.

It is disappointing because it looked interesting and had a budget higher than a loaf of stale bread and expired can of beans for a tactical game. I was even willing to overlook the medieval thundercunt squads.

Guess i'll just go back and finish Dungeon of Nickelback... Someday.

I actually played it for a few hours, and it's just super boring. It has all the necessary parts and nothing is horribly broken, but it kinda feels like a generic tacticool #745827 that AI would make. It's souless, everything about it is just meh. Combat is super slow and feels extremely repetitive, leveling is too simple and boring, you have very few tools to play around with, all upgrades are like +1 to dmg +1 to armor, there is nothing to make you want to keep playing, nothing to look forward to.

This is really bizarre decision.

One bizarre decision is that only opponents get to play with spells and wonky abilities, while you are limited to mundane medieval tools (+ alchemy and guns, though).
