In your mad fanboy rage you can't even detect sarcasm

Pretty sure root wasn't being sarcastic but I'll accept it if I'm wrong. *shrugs*

Question regading blood stones and the shelter plane
I poped into Phantom Forest before clearing out the second area. The imp appeared to me and told me that the Shelter Plane was under attack and that I had to destroy the Blood Stone in Phantom Forest to stop it. I went back to the 2nd area to level up and I ended up using 2 bloodstones whilst going about that. No new rooms have opened in the Pane. Are those rooms going to open when I end the attack or have I essentially wasted 2 blood stones? [/spolier]

Angry Joe is a fan of it. OH MY GOD

Also, I just used my first blood stone (I must have around 5, at least) -- and that's only because I had a LOS bug and couldn't resurrect my fallen witch no matter what ("target out of sight", yeah, sure) -- and turns out they unlock additional stuff in my Homestead and now I can choose an additional elemental trader?? WTF game, where's mah Caius Cossades tips for that :argh:

There are 3 offensive skills for Marksman what I've seen. Ricochet, Barrage and Arrow storm or some shit like that what Ive noticed.
Ricochet is selfexplanatory, barrage shoots 3 arrows/bolts at a single target and the last one shoots fuckton of arrows on a set area.
Useful when you have 2 enemies infront of you, they get hit with like 10 arrows each.

Some bad stuff. Mostly inventory management that can be patched in.
It should remember filters you set, if I want it to show me latest loot then show it to me always unless I say otherwise.
Other one is bartering bullshit. It will 'recognize' only the person you started conversation with, not when you switch chars during the shop menu. So if you start the barter with archer and you see person you trade with has fuckton of spellbooks it will tell you that you dont own any of it eventho your mage knows atleast half of em. So I need to exit the conversation, main select my mage, start it again and only then it will show me if I got the spell or not. Fucking annoying.

Quick, go on Steam and Metacritic and rate it a 1/10 solely because of that.

ETA: Bless you for advocating the inclusion of angry fist shake guy. He's a beaut.

Of course, the clown follows the "general consensus".

I don't actually know shit about Angry Joe (aside from that "top reasons Fallout 3 kicks ass" pic, lol), but to his credit he actually did a pretty positive preview of the game about a year ago, with no metacritic user score hype yet to be seen (or even imagined).

hwat? whenever you find a starstone you unlock stuff, no? the first time you get into luculla you also stumble upon an opportunity of using a bloodstone and if you do you unlock stuff immediately, your...wossname...rune teleportation thingie on the upper right flashes green.

I knew you're supposed to unlock stuff with your *star stones*, yeah, but I had no idea I could use blood stones to unlock stuff. I may have just missed some dialogue exposition, of course, since the game is pretty free-form about that. I just assumed those were for healing only, and thus never used them because healing is for wussies. It's only when I ran into a Resurrect glitch that I actually had to use one - and lo and behold, that actually allowed me to unlock my 2nd elemental shop at the homestead. Now I know I might want to actually use the blood stones instead of just having them lie in my inventory.

I think that Larian created a nice balance of difficulty in a way that the game is challenging and interesting enough for a fan of classical PC RPGs, while at the same time being pretty accessible for a modern popamole lover like Angry Joe, if he is willing to put at least some effort into understanding the game's system rather than ragequitting cause zombies 2 hard.

Game does gimp you a bit, in a wintry area your chars are "chilled" and in desert windy area they are "slowed". P fun for my Madora that enjoys -4AP penalty, so she's last to hit anyway cause she a fat bitch and starts at 4 AP and needs 5 AP to fucking hit anything. First turn: Spacebar.
I gimped my party alot too by building em like a retard, again Madora takes the hit cause I gave her 3 points in leadership and my mages can now enjoy +10% chance to hit with their autoattacks. Big facepalm when I noticed that everyone gets the bonus except her. Thank God for that Summon Spider spell.

Fucking mindblown.

I was talking in PoE thread that i would love to see proper thief like class in cRPG and then with few people we remembered few things about thief in IE games. Like how you could go away from enemy view and activate hide in shadows.... wait...

Alt tab > divinity.
starts a fight
press c
can't sneak
moves away from enemy
press c
SUCCESS
goes to use that guerilla trait
WORKS

Now i am thinking about making crossbow sniper with ton of perception (crit) + guerilla trait + bully + ton on sneak skill.

Basically every turn i would use guerilla trait from far away (thanks to perception) dealing obscene amount of damage and with lot of sneak skill cone of view for enemy will be small enough to go from their field of view and hide myself.

I thought that was common knowledge :) Sorry for not sharing it before.
You need 4 AP to sneak in battle. Next time try daggers drawn as opening move while sneak from behind then bathe in blood.

As you level up sneaking it decreases its AP cost up to 1AP.

With sneak 5 (easy to get as +sneak items are plentiful) you need 1AP.

New update on Steam:

"
Update V1.0.63
Hello everybody,

First of all, thank you for all the feedback. Divinity:Original Sin is a big game and it's sometimes hard for us to see where things go wrong. You've been absolutely fantastic in helping us out and as a result we have a number of fixes that should help out several people:

- Added more error reporting when save files are not written away correctly
- Optimised texture streaming & sound loading to reduce stuttering on some systems. More optimisations are coming
- Fix for bone totem problems in the Luculla mines
- Fix for end game not triggering correctly under certain circumstances
- Better resolution detection
- Fixed issues with changing multiplayer settings
- Fixed a number of crashes
- Followers now move in a less jittery manner
- Fixed issue with combining stacks of items
- Fixed issue in multiplayer that caused two peers to get the same character assigned
- Updated French & German translations

Have fun!

I'm seriously tempted to restart (yet again) with a sniper marksman and a daggers rogue. Jahan will have to pick up the slack with spells, but the deepz should be majestic.
