Fighting those 3 zombies outside the first town and you gotta be ♥♥♥♥ing ♥♥♥♥ting me... its probably been 2 hours now that I'm trying to beat them to no avail.
Grab the henchmen from the town. With four characters this fight is much, much easier than just with two.

Having a blast with this. Solved the murder case and cleared most of the surronding areas near city. There are some really intense fights gave me good trouble. Creating a fog(smoke bomb!) fucking handy when encountring many archers, especially when you 2 fragile mage in back row.
Started with a wizard and a thief. I was sceptical about thief in combats at first but she butchers enemies with backstabs, also charming touch rocks.

Edit: BTW I'm hearing the great soundtrack of first game seldom.
As a thief you may want to invest one point in expert marksman and air magic- teleportation and tactical retreat make backstabs never stop.

My biggest complaint so far is that the music, while really good and pleasant to listen to, does not seem to be tied to any particular area or situation, and just plays at random as if there is some sort of playlist and often it doesn't suit the mood of the place I'm running around. Still, not a big thing to worry about.

In the beta at least some locations (e.g. the inn) had their own tunes playing when entering.

I beat that encounter, it was challenging and fun, you don't have to go in that damn direction, go the other way. Worse than bethtards whining about cazadores ffs.
(I'm assuming you mean the zombies at the north gate, because if you mean the ones in the rain..........)

Although I am pissed at this game, because the Piece of shit crashes every time I try to quicksave. Too many times now, will pick it back up after some patches, what bullshit.

I have a lvl 3 Battlemage spec'd for 2 handed weapons wielding a 2 handed axe, a cleric spec'd for Bows with a bow and a new fighter I just got with a 2 handed sword(not spec'd for it). I start off by throwing a fire ball at em which does a fair amount of damage and causes burning, from then on I mainly try to use minor heals + burning touch on them so that they don't spew the green poison slime which heals them if they're attacked with melee, which is a ridiculous design choice in and of itself for such early game monsters, then just when they're about dead I figure yeah I might as well attack em with my melee, but nope, some "game designer" figured it'd be a good idea to have less than 50% attack chance vs. enemies who are only 2 lvls higher than you, so I attack them, they spew the green goo which heals them and its pretty much GG from there and you might as well reload and try again because theres no getting out of that cycle once it gets rolling.

The game opened up great IMO but if this is a testament to how the rest of the encounters play out I am not impressed.

They really die quick to fire spells, just spam flare after fireball. Slow/stun them as needed and teleport them away, you can also burn the poisoned ground for extra damage and purge the poison. Its even quicker if you have some fire damage staff.

Edit : Git gud and L2P

Dumb shit, there's like 50 things to do in Cyseal and nearby and you spend 2 hours on one fight

Also you think "melee attack bad, attack with fire" then when they're nearly dead you think "OH NOW I ATTACK THEM MELEE" instead of using fire spells which you can use every round, or if you somehow have characters that can't cast fire spells or any othe rkind of direct damage spells, you know, THEY ARE KIND OF SOLD IN SHOPS

What a fucking faggot.
You can also always lead the zombies to the wall and open the gate, let the guards deal with it. And didn't you say the zombies were two levels higher than you? Way I figure it is things your level are always a challenge, anything higher, especially a few levels higher is a BIG challenge, which is refreshing.

Also lol'd @ intended for low IQ people. That's so fucking weird, the game is hard, must be intended for retards; backwards ass logic of someone really butt-bothered that the game kicked the shit out of them.

Serious question unrelated to Black's trolling/retardation, how does lone wolf work exactly? If I take it on one character can I only recruit one character, and only using the second pc? or..?

I can't believe people actually enjoy this garbage, let alone so vehemently defend it, what a sad state of affairs because this is quite literally garbage in game form.

That's funny coming from a Kingdoms of Amalur player.

No idea for single player but if you go co-op your friend can have a companion while you have lonewolf. I would guess that it work the same way for single player if you bind the companion directly to the character that dont have lone wofl?

I've read somewhere that you still can get henchmen with the lone wolf trait. Not sure if its the case though..

More from the entertaining thread at steam:

There was zero need for this game to be created, yet it exists. Just like a yearly COD release. As a consumer I have every right to voice my opinion of it. I was hyped for this game and had it preordered for a couple of months now, waited til release day to play it in order to get the best experience, and in the end it turns out to be an incompetent, poorly designed piece of turd.

I'm honestly not trolling here, well I counter troll the trolls, but I'm not trolling when I say that I think this game is utter ♥♥♥♥. You can excuse me if I voice my disappointment in public.

I hope it's just trolling for "fun", if not.....
