Yeah why turn Marksman into mage if he can fill 2 hotbars with special arrows alone. Charm > Charm arrow is just stupid. Then angry cupid proceeds with poison clouds/stuns/Rambo arrows.

Why bother with charm arrow when there's a charm ability! And it seems to work on damn near everything.

Do you charm hallf your opponents during a fight? I rarely need to do any but I find anything more than one as a decoy/target dummy is overkill. My two melee fighters have insanely high resistances at this point (a couple over 100% resulting in heals) so I can just throw them into the pack and fireball away.

That Cain guy in Hall of Heroes is pure bs. He starts at level 1 with +5 str and +5 man at arms. That is impossible for normal characters.

I haven't even looked at the characters there. Not even sure how it works? Can you add an additional party member past four or are they just meant as replacements for Jahan and Madorra.

Most henchmen has some bugs with them. Visual ones are common. I liked old witch lady with dark skin and white hair who did't have any skills learned whatsoever and had a portrait of a hot blonde.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
Tried an archer for this run but I kind of regret that. It's my weakest party member so far, so I taught her Some fire spells.
Let go of your inner loot hog and use the special arrows. Use them all the fuckin time. Rangers are amazing, but very reliant on those.

On the other hand that makes me wonder how useful mine will be come endgame. Do the special arrows scale well enough to keep a ranger viable?

Still very viable, and extremely useful, for me at lvl16.
I have mostly used her in a support role, but it is good to know that I don't need to worry about special arrows. She acts as my archer and summoner whenever she has enough spare AP to summon a fire elemental.

In Co-Op lone wolves it's pretty invaluable. That room before Evelyn was kinda funny too cause they spammed CC so hard till Broseph died.
One charm was enough to mess their spam. Leaped back to doorway and AoE them on that narrow passage.

Madorra has comeback kid. Without prerequisites.

That room is full of WEAKENED cultists who are easy to kill. A simple summon and Madorra would have field day.

They're replacements if you don't want John and the texan bat.

Not sure about scaling but as long as you build up your bow/crossbow, expert marksman, arrow recovery and have at least one character who you build up crafting with...your archer should be a great, great addition to your party. If not, you're doing it wrong. Trust.

He's also the char to put +2 to find traps/secrets perk into, since you'll stack +per stuff on him anyway and marksman is just a fairly easy and straightforward char to build.

Special arrows aren't even needed for archers to deal crazy damage. Stack dexterity, have sufficiently high enough perception, get Marksman to 5, grab the good abilities, and boom.

Ah shit, that's exactly what I meant to do at this previous level pass since it was a trait one! Fuuuuuck. Fuuuuuck. I completely forgot and just chose all skilled up so I could bring bow skill up to 5.

Ah, I'm worried about screwing myself over in this game.

2nd area spoilers..?

So I go into the Dungeon Trial and do all the trial stuff. I get the rot, and lose the rot with the star stone, I talk to Loic and -- wait, what the fuck? He's like 3-4 levels above me and crushes me no matter what. So I backtrack the fuck out of there, manage to get everyone back out without the rot, though it took a few tries. Now my question is, when I'm ready to go back in there, will I get the rot again... and then be unable to shed myself of it? The star stone is now inert, so I can't "wash" myself of it. I'm hoping Loic will say something about getting rid of it, but I don't know. I just don't want to end up walking around with rot for the rest of the game because I broke a quest or something. Already peeved about spending so much time backtracking since my pyramid didn't cut it.

I don't know if you get it again, but you get several blood stones during your journey, so it is not a big problem to get rid of the Rot.
