Love the scoundrel/marksman synergy
Dagger type weapons are 2 ap, regular 1handers 3 and 2 handers 4 as far as I can tell. +1 or more if the weapon is higher level than you.How many AP does it cost to attack with daggers? I'd have to think movement requirements would take a sizable amount of your AP.
This is to be expected. If the game gets a good Metacritic score, some people will do an impulse buy and bitch about it later. So, huh, Gameinformer pushed metacritic to 86 (yay!), but sadly the user critics 'plummeted' to 9.2. I should stop checking this
Lol does this kill him? I noticed fire damage heals him so that doesn't make much sense.
Remember that every attack with a dagger/rondel = 2 hits. So, if a rondel has 20 damage, that's 20 damage x 2, for 2 AP. Essentially 1 AP per attack. And if you have a high speed character and/or fast mover perk, it is 1 or 2 AP to position yourself behind them once you are in melee range, unless you're fighting a specially oversize enemy. Finally there is the status effects as described above.
I think it's pretty great as it is. I found a pretty great dagger with stun ability early on so it helps even more. Some people say Backstab is OP, but I haven't tried it myself.
It has nice synergy since -50% hp means you have to invest in Con and more Con = more max AP.Hmm all this backstab talk has me curious now... I'll have to try it out.
I'll also say the glass cannon trait is ridiculously good for mages. 16 recovery AP for Jahan
Heh, no one in my party is using one-handed weapons. That's something to try for my next playthrough, as is backstab and Scoundrel abilities in general.
Dear Lord, the loading times are killing me. I get that it loads the entire area, not just a small portion of it, but by God is the waiting nauseating.
Rolling a rogue was a big mistake combat-wise imo. Not having found anything other than a dagger as a main weapon (and since you can't dual-wield), I'm seriously thinking of re-rolling a warrior/mage instead.
I don't know shit about crafting in this game.Im using that one too, you should really upgrade it with tormented soul, teneberium and whetstone though.
BTW if you sell some teneberium weapon to a shopkeeper who don't know how to wield it, they get rot
Edit: Black You can't craft weapons/armor from teneberium but you can use bars on your existing equitment to upgrade them. I was able to smelt the forge in home plane btw.
This is because it's the influence on sales which ensures that more games of this type are made. I don't care if other people like D:OS or not, or if they are playing it for "the right reasons". What interests me is that they should buy the game so that Larian could earn more money and make more games like it. And since the average metacritic influence the sales (even if that's stupid)... I would wish that the average was as high as possible.
"snakes"Snakebite..... in a game WITH NO FUCKING SERPENTS. At all.
Yes I am butthurt about no snakes in DOS...
