Infinitron Twiglard Why doesn't Codex have a built in feature to share Webms directly? 4chan, a few years ago, recently implemented that feature to just drag and drop a webm and it makes it so much easier to upload webms. Using a third party is just clunky for me.

Apparently a leak:

Too good to be true, but I'm hoping so much that it is.

The qunari being queer doesn't come as a shock, the signs were everywhere. And it was written by "Trick" Weekes...

And apparently they decided to maximise their DIE score by finding a way to punish Rooks who identify as He/Him. As if hehims being at the bottom of the hierarchy would come as a surprise. It's quite literally only a small notch away from going completely pronounless, aka as a nazi.

All in all, art and creativity cannot thrive in a vacuum inhabited by cultists. If EA knows what is necessary, they will purge this marxist filth.

I still can't believe that they actually gave a female krogan a sissy gayboy's lisp. Just so that it could afford some real-life sissies a chance to be the slaying queen who slaps and kicks her way to victory over the deep-voiced oppressors. Please tell me it was just a joke, that they were just a bunch of jokers.

Edit: nevermind, you can't play as a krogan in Androgynomeda.

They're trying so hard.

This marketing is so desperate.

I have no clue why EA didn't just can the project altogether and be done with it. There's no way they're ever going to recoup losses from all the money they've wasted on this.
If Electronic Arts had canned this game, the Codex would have been deprived of the joy of mocking it and Bioware, before the final celebration of Bioware's inevitable demise.

Will be interesting to see if this is the game that finally gets Bioware taken out the back and quietly put down.

At the very least EA should go through the studio and fire anyone with purple hair and/or pronouns.

It is very clear they have already written this game off, studios fate depends on upcoming Mass Effect now. We can only hope for them to double down on all the horrifying things they have done with this game and make Mass Effect even worse just to give more things for us to make fun of.

It's mezmerising how this shadow of a company is functioning based solely on illusions. The founders and creatives are long gone, the audience is long gone, the workers expect little more than their paycheck and the owners, their ROI. And nobody, obviously, is keen on saying it out loud : it's gone. There's nothing left, here. Maggots on a corpse.

It's always the same scenario with these formerly succesful studios.
After years if not decades of work, owners (who more often than not, are the very reason the shit succeeded to begin with) sell to finally get a substantial reward. In the worst case scenario, they don't even make their money back in full.
Buyers buy expecting a profitable business to remain profitable, despite effectively suppressing any motivation from aforementioned ex-owner to generate wealth (when he doesn't simply leave altogether) which already makes absolutely no fucking sense.
Workers work for the paycheck as always, but now under a leadership who does the same. The vision etiolates, motivation sags down, they navigate by sight.

Not that it could be much different otherwise. It always starts the same : the leader(s) want to quit, either softly or immediately.
Big conglomerates such as EA and Microsoft are basically pension funds for retired studios, at this point.

This game is going to be astroturfed on a much grander scale than anything we've seen before.
It's already started and we're still not even at release day.

You are already playing the victim of some grand design against you, when Dragon Age isn't even promoted on Steam (its not expensive and even indies sometimes pay for it).

Is this where we pretend games media and all their sycophants don't coordinate to push what they want?
I didn't say it would be effective only that it's going to happen.
