Maybe n's better that way. Last time Square gave us more Chrono Trigger (in the form of additional content on the DS remake), they ended up confirming that Magus is indeed that nobody from Chrono Cross.
Yikes. I did not know that.
I don't recognize the existence of that shit game anyways. Also, pretty sure Magus has pointy demon ears.

Magus presumably uses magic to keep that appearance so the Mystics will accept him as leader in the fight against humans. He was born like a normal human (well, apart from fucked up eye and hair color...well, normal human in that setting), and could have picked up some shapeshifting with his subordinates - every mystic seems to be able to disguise as a human, and then there's Flea who is particularly good at it. Creating elf ears and pale skin would be easy, that much would be explainable. What makes it painful is that Square decided to go back on the "no, Guile was supposed to be Magus but we run out of time for that because we thought having 1000 party members with little to no backstory was more important than explaining what happened to Schala's brother (who ended the last game embarking on a quest to search for Schala) in a game centered around Schala, but we threw Guile in so we wouldn't waste his character model" deal, which was already bittersweet enough before they removed the possibility that it could just be a magician who sorta looks like him.

SuicideBunny which do you think is more powerful? Magick Archer or Mystic Knight?

Great Cannon + 3 Sorcerers casting Fulmination is fun but can crash your game. Abyssal Anguish deals loads of damage as well.

Magick Archer doesn't need setup and is significantly more mobile compared to the Mystic Knight. Also, his spells have the right elements for fighting tougher monsters late game (Ice and Thunder).

MA might be more powerful, but i didn't enjoy playing one and thus didn't do it extensively enough to compare.

I had a bit of fun with the Magic Archer, but when I fired that yellow multi-targeting spell for the first time I asked myself, "Did they really put a class into the game that is this easymode?" Still fun.

Why the hell Capcom didn't port this to PC? It feels like a good European-style CRPG which will be totally appealing to PC audience.

For what do you need water and oil?

You can also craft oil arrows, or throw the flasks to douse enemies and then burn/electrocute them.

Started playing this again recently. This game is so awesome, feels like you're constantly surrounded by secrets and alternate solutions and stuff. Just went to the bandit camp and accidentally found the grimoire, obtained it by making the leader all buddy-buddy with some skulls. Also bought the house from Fournival so he didn't evict anyone. Also threw some poor villager to his death for teh lulz.

Capcom has an idiotic policy of only releasing stuff that is guaranteed to reach a certain X profit. While it sounds smart, it prevents them from taking even small risks so they'll be releasing street fighters and resident evils until the public gets sick of those and they realize with horror that they have no new IP to hang onto. In before mass seppuku

it would be dishonorabru to risk jobs on IP that aren't guaranteed to profit

I'm not even talking about new IPs right now. I believe if they make a PC port, they'll cover their expenses and get profit. I can't see how extra profit hurts any company. Of course business planning sounds smart, but this is a 100% profitable variant.

Playing bit by bit. Has some similarities with first Gothic IMO: went to the well - got rekt by some crocodile dude, went to the mountain - got rekt by some powerful bandit which tried to kill me with a boulder before the encounter. Cool stuff:thumbsup:

By I still do not get the climbing mechanic. I fought the Hydra and my Arisen was crawling around one of the necks sometimes falling into the textures:lol:

So the trademark was filed and the DD team is announcing their new project soon and but was absent at Playstation Experience. When are the possible future events that could be remotely seen as "soon"?

Only thing that comes to mind for me is Jump Festa on the 21st. Any other possibilities?

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
Jump Feat is the only even I can think of. That is if they don't hold their own event or do a stream or something. They could also announce it via Famitsu or Dengeki or whatever.

What's the most efficient way to get a good weapon for a Mystic Knight? I don't even have enough money to get the best vendor gear. I really wish they hadn't removed the mouldy carrot money exploit in Dark Arisen.

Have you done the escort mission for the idol yet? If not, do so and get a gold idol then give it to Caxton. He should sell a sword that does lightning damage then. Because magic components of weapons scale with your magic stats, a sword or club that deals magic damage is very effective if you started as a mage and before the post game, only 1 foe, which is rare and only spawns after a certain late game quests anyways, resist lightining.

As for making money quickly, I think the best DA way was to mine the tunnel passage with the guts gear, then go find high level chests and sell their contents.

You're basically attached to them like a ragdoll, hang onto a weak point and slash away. It's such a relief that they didn't make it a QTE.
Shame that's not as epic as Witcher 2 :troll:
