Reports on PC performance aren't great, but seem pretty mixed. People with weaker machines are claiming it isn't quite that bad.

Digital Foundry is saying to wait for the Day 1 patch which apparently has promised performance improvements.

Regardless, it's a shame FROM can't take a leaf out of Capcom's book and get a decent porting team, though in FROM's case, it's more likely to be their shitty engine rather than a bad port directly.

Well the worrying thing is that some reports of bad performance are legit coming from people with hefty rigs, but then other reports on lesser rigs are reporting it's mostly fine.

I guess the only thing to do is see what the performance is like with the Day 1 patch.

Got a key for 40 EUR, because I'd rather give some extra money to some poor bro in Venezuela or whatever who is flipping his 20 EUR ROW key for a profit than give that money to Gaben so Steam gets filled with even more shovelware and is even less maintained as a platform.

I'm on an oldish i5 and an RX 570 4gb and I expect / hope to get playable frames on Medium 1080p. Reviews and screenshots showing the presets display next to zero loss of quality in a still image going from Ultra to High to even Medium. The drop happens on Low and it's not even as bad as you'd expect it to be.

FYI, spellcasting has been nerfed since the CNT. While still viable, it's apparently not as strong as i.E. Demon's Souls faceroll spellcasting.

Funnily enough, I feel that people with more low end rigs are going to feel less impact on performance than people with a 3080 and 32Gb, mainly because being potato gamers at this point we just expect for the game to be playable.

I have that recently bought a 3080 and paid a very high price for it and I know that he will definitely leave a negative review if the frame drops a single digit while playing in 4k.
