Yes, playing without modifications is perfectly fine. I have completed the game twice without feeling the need to use mods.Picked up the Royal Edition. Any must have mods for this or is vanilla fine as is?
None required. Instant Herb Picking was the one mod I used to get rid of the one bugaboo that passed me off.Picked up the Royal Edition. Any must have mods for this or is vanilla fine as is?
Try not to use the quicksave mod, it completely destroys a big chunk of the fine-tuned machinery around drinking, alchemy, exploration and making your choices matter. Just stick with the vanilla saving and eventually you'll see why they tied quicksaving to a specific consumable.Picked up the Royal Edition. Any must have mods for this or is vanilla fine as is?
the game lets you save and quit at any timeI used only save game anytime mod, because I hate when the game limits me in this way and besides I've got shit to do and places to be IRL and not always have time to search for ingame bed.
Also you get skill XP for picking herbs up that'll contribute to shit like botany or herbalist or whatever it's called. There's a mod that'll increase the pickup radius, but while it's convenient to collect 50 pounds of plants in one go, I think you only get Xp for one grab.Try not to use the quicksave mod, it completely destroys a big chunk of the fine-tuned machinery around drinking, alchemy, exploration and making your choices matter. Absolutely do use the instant herb picking mod tho, a must have QoL thing.
+1 for instant herb picking and nothing else.Picked up the Royal Edition. Any must have mods for this or is vanilla fine as is?
If we're just making things up about theoretical games, why stop at 80%? KCD2 is 110% done!I'd expect KCD2's at least 80% done already after all this time.
The difference is the last Deus Ex was one of the most high-profile flops while KCD 1 was one of the most spectacular successes of its kind.NuDeus Ex being definitely early, who knows about risky

Wrong.KCD2 is so fucked there's no chance this releases, right?
and if it were 80% there would be marketing and a great deal of other evidence that it existsIf we're just making things up about theoretical games, why stop at 80%? KCD2 is 110% done!I'd expect KCD2's at least 80% done already after all this time.
because if it was 100% they'd release it you dumbfuck
Did you play start to finish with this one? I considered it, but it seemed like the type of mod that would break quests that rely on daily scheduling scriptingEarly bird NPC schedules

If KCD2 is a success, KCD3 is happening almost certainly.I expect KCD2 will come out eventually. I'm less sure about KCD3.
I'm not finished with my playthrough but haven't had any issues thus far. If you are interested but worried, I would load the mod first in load order.Did you play start to finish with this one?
