It's been a weak year but I'll add votes for Trudograd and Encased.
Do FO:Nevada or Olympus qualify?

LoL a lot of the common games are recommended. The idea was that people would recommend some obscure indies or something,because every year there is a bunch of people whining about that shit. Every time there is someone "why didn't you include this obscure game that have like 5 sold copies???" And now everyone is recommending the obvious goty contenders . Oh well at least it is an active thread about rpgs,enjoy it while it lasts.

Could probably be more clear about that in opening post, which seems to ambigously suggest "more for" rather than "only for". (Of course, you would STILL have got all those off-topic suggestions, but you'd have a better case admonishing them )

The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante - Suzerain clone, the storyfags like it

Gloomhaven - adaptation of the best rated board game on boardgame geeks. Very codexian

Himeko Sutori - even if not many people played it because it is codexian made

Siege Survival Gloria Victis - inferior This War of Mine Clone, but still worth playing

Realms of Antiquity was originally released at the end of of 2020, only the Steam release was in 2021.
