this one does, the more the guy knows about rpgs the better the score gets... Solasta: Crown of the Magister review -- A treat for D&D fans (pcinvasion.com)No one seems to mention the home brewed classes or changes to darkvision. No one seems to talk about the lighting either.
I haven't taken reviewers seriously in years. Both Solasta and Biomutant reviews solidify my stance.
hit me up when the game is on sale and has some decent modules up in the workshop
it's on 20% off release day sale.
And as Acrux said it already has a lot of mods on Nexus. Most of them dungeon modules
Cucks simps retards faggots.
how the fuck did half-elf beat out half-orc as the last race?

I don't see a reason to mess w/ Nexus (which I don't use because they 1. require an account and 2. are woke and ban "problematic" mods) when Steam Workshop exists and is infinitely simpler.

Friendly modders

Modders hate the people that use their mods.
Play vanilla first, as God intended.Installing. First time I've looked at this. You really recommend day one mod?
Here's a review with home brewed classes and talking about lighting. Though it appears to be a place focused more on RPGs so that's probably why.No one seems to mention the home brewed classes or changes to darkvision. No one seems to talk about the lighting either.

First time I've felt any regret moving to Linux 100%. I haven't waded into the WINE pool much yet, mostly dipped my toe. This is a compelling incentive to start though.
These are videogame journalists. Not sure what you are expecting from them. Darkvision wasn't important in other (popular) cRPGs, so I am sure they simply missed how vital it is here. And to know about the homebrewed classes you'd first have to be familiar with the tabletop. No one seems to mention the home brewed classes or changes to darkvision. No one seems to talk about the lighting either.

Half-Elves aren't strong. Half-Orcs are. What can Half-Elves do that can't be done by Humans OR Elves?Half elves aren't brainlets. That is the differenceHalf elf is different?Half orc = brainlet race product of rape.
A lot more chaff than wheat since they stopped actually moderating. Honestly I come here mainly to laugh at the stereotypes and, occasionally, discuss games.Cucks simps retards faggots. Informative Rpg Codex Thread : using all the nasty words to Express Yourself Freely About Video Games
Yeah alright. Gotta dig the thread to find some value I suppose, but christ this fucking place takes itself way too much as a chat room sometimes

this means it will take me like 80 hours to play, sweet.Finished it. The Steam counter says 47 hours. Although I'm going back for one side quest that I was locked out of having started the final chapter, so I think it'll get to 50 hours. I think at least main quest-wise, there's about the same amount of content post EA as there is in the EA portion, but there are many more side quests. Impressions later not to break the embargo - but to give you a hint, I rarely play any game beyond the first 15-20 hours.
One thing I noticed is that leveling seems to come at a very regular pace. Like, it takes about the same amount of hours to get from level 2 to level 3 as it takes to get from level 8 to level 9. Is this a 5e thing or a Solasta thing? Because I'm used to DnD leveling being fast for the first couple of levels, then slowing down to a crawl, so it felt very fast to me - but then I never actually reached level 10.
what about just casting light spell on a couple of the front-line peoples weapons?Darkvision is the reason I'll be always make inhumans in this game. Basically everyone has darkvision except for humans, and it's a huge dealbreaker. Most of the areas in the game are dark, and carrying torches is a pain in the ass.
in BG if there was a really important spell I want to be sure to learn, that is what I use the 'genius' potions forAnything that i had played doesn't have a book page limit in.But it was.Because it was not in 3.5
Actually, Baldur's Gate 2 has a limit on how much spells you can scribe proportional to your char's INT. And your char needs a "roll" to learn from the scroll(obviously you can save scum). The unique way to have a spell learning guaranteed is by having 18 INT(85%) and learning a spell from your specialist school(+15%). Or 24/25 INT which is extremely hard to reach even with all magical items and potions.
Exactly like Solasta. One page per spell level.
The starting spellbook has 100 pages but we don't know if there is other spellbooks with 500+ pages.
They hit harder? You really do sound retarded there, by the way.Half Orcs aren't intelligent. Half elves are. What can Half-Orcs do that can't be done by humans OR orcs?

Orcs and half orcs should be enslaved, or better. Killed and reanimated as undead slaves, so we don't need to waste food and water with then.
