Please tell me JVC is working on MM11 or there is a spiritual successor in the works

Not by JVC but there is a M&M 11 (as in the M&M 6 fashion) game in development by some M&M devs (or at least one of them, the thread is buried here somewhere)
Yeah i believe that it was the lead of MM9. I am surprised that people here didn't knew about it. Tho it is not mm11 but a blobber like mm6-9. Don't remember the name,we should ask Infinitron .

We dodged a bullet here, M&M 9 lead designer and M&M 6+7 level designers are on a different plane of existence, Carcères for the former, Celestial plane for the latter.

I downloaded his demo for his game, but real life takes precedence. And it's not helping when my brother is trying to suck me into a timesink game.

The game looks like all of it should be 4 gb, why is just the demo this big? Or is this the full build, just content-locked somewhere in the code?

It looks just like that Fantastic Journeys (?) game I bought last year. Both kind of mercy buys at this point. Fit and finish on both atrocious at this point.

The English box releases of Clouds of Xeen and Darkside of Xeen have freakish huge boxes, wasn't aware of that because on images you can't really see it. Damn I love them

(for comparison the small goldbox type boxes and normal sized one for ID)

Mike Winterbauer's art was for NWC was fantastic and totally deserves that oversized box. IIRC he also drew the cloth maps for both Xeen games, the Spaceward Ho box art, and one of the Wing Commanders.

He drew Sheltem for the Darkside box too <3

Spaceward Ho, the great project eater. The only game on the Mac Lab Macs, and the only one you needed. Later came Warlords to add insult to injury.

I was briefly contemplating getting the Larry Elmore art for MM6, but the prints are too small for my taste to justify $30.

Given the good results from posting about the Merge mod on my YouTube channel, I'm going to dedicate time to Merge on my LP sessions. There are good mods out now that truly change the game enough to warrant investigation. I'll be focusing on a number of those mods on my YouTube channel.

Digital Antiquarian will be covering Might & Magic after all, if only to talk about HOMM: https://www.filfre.net/2021/07/and-onward-to-1995/

We’ll backtrack a bit to cover the story of New World Computing and the Might and Magic CRPG franchise, which will set the stage for frightfully addictive strategy game Heroes of Might and Magic.

Can't wait to see what moronic things he has to say about Might and Magic

Will he actually play the games or just stock up on Research knowledge

I have yet to see any "professional" site bother doing research especially for games. I have my history of M&M on Celestial Heavens. I originally wrote it for Gamebanshee, but they never contacted me back. Right now, I am more likely to have my upcoming novella surpass both my post count and YouTube subscribers.

Not to mention he sells the art on his webpage as big posters
