Yes you can go down to 0 on your attributes, even 0 on all of them.

And yes, it would apply penalties.
Why 0 and not 1? Can you go into negative?

I might change it later, but you can go down to 0 so you can get a -5 mod.

5 is the human average and gives a 0 mod. Anything above 5 starts giving +1, anything below 5 gets -1.

The max is 20, where you get +15, the min is 0 where you get -5.

Not super sure if this system will work out, will depend a lot on balancing.

Attribute checks are flat checks, not rolls. But there will be non-combat uses of attributes that are rolls.

Welp, here goes criticism you did not ask for.

It does not look nearly menacing enough for an "abyssal" thing, unless it's a pun for a harmless rat-sized rodent.

* The body is bloated with soft and exposed underbelly.
* The spine crest looks soft and bendy, like it's made of rubber.
* The sycthe-arms can snap at joints like fucking twigs.
* They are aslo ill equipped for both grabbing and mauling. Pephaps those barbs could serve as back-scratchers though.
* The underdeveloped under-arms are completely pointless. Unless they meant to grow up into another pair of the sycthes.
* With a name like that you'd imagine it being a carnivore, but I've seen rabbits with more teeth.
* The largest thing in it's mouth is the huge pink tongue, so I guess it could lick you to death. Or maybe it just sucks.

Agree on everything you mentioned, very odd evolutionary traits for a predator. Very important aspect to think about when designing creatures. Although the spikes around the mouth and the extremely sharp primary teeth look like they could deal some damage, the tail also looks like it has a scythe like appendage as well. Maybe the creature just stabs or slices its prey to death and eats it whole, which would explain the large underbelly.

Pretty good points. So I can't speak to the intention of the original designer, but I found that this model actually fits pretty well in the setting.

Specifically, the MoonFall Abyss, which is like the underdark if it was a very deep chasm created by a fragment of a blown-up, eldritch moon.

Creatures down there don't really operate the same as most other animals. There's a certain element of nonlogical development, as these creatures were either born from or corrupted by the Dream Empress, a Lovecraftian primordial that was locked at the heart of the Abyss.

I thought this was a cyberpunk game. Where do the monsters fit in?
It's always been the Shadowrun flavor of cyberpunk. So science fantasy.

Vampires are by far not the most dangerous things here.

(But seriously, the characters look great. Always amazing how much detail can be conveyed at the isometric angle in such small figures.)

Seriously though, I do agree that the models of all characters look very good from isometric perspective. I guess the biggest issue will be giving them some subtle animations so they don't feel lifeless.

Seriously though, I do agree that the models of all characters look very good from isometric perspective. I guess the biggest issue will be giving them some subtle animations so they don't feel lifeless.

Animations are both really hard and really easy, in wildly different ways. Since this is still mostly a one-man show, it's a time/effort issue.

I wouldn't expect the next demo to have a huge amount of polish, but it'll get cleaned up over time. I think the final product will look spectacular.

I got tired of crunching and decided to make more marketing collateral.

Just a short overview, won't tell you too much. Might turn it into a lore series but I feel like I'm already doing overburdened with stuff to do.

Good thing I like to work I guess.

Great voice. Reminds me of Dune (overall) and Supreme Commander 2 intro (specifically). She's a keeper.
