There aren't many differences, something in mouth (mouth seems better in first game) and nose but no big deal.
It is common to fail to keep characters look in sequels. In this case is very important since we are talking about vampires that never age, still more than a decade passed.

From that one look she seems worse, but then I don't get the panic since she was just a bitch, and the hottest girls were malk, adore in toreadore & flesh eating necromancer chick.

I think the new Damsel looks better. Thin eyebrows are out anyway.
Finally someone with taste.
So, first you acting like a brainless "excited" fanboy and now you're just trolling, right? What kind of reasoning is that? More mature and smarter, you say? Fresh faced people with both a lot of love for the material? Are you're on drugs or something? Where did you even get that? As for passion, trolling your or not - it's not necessary a good thing, sadly. Cara, for one, seem like a very passionate person, no doubt about that.
What's wrong with Cara? She loved Bloodlines, she's one of us. Do you hate her because you're a sexist or something?

She's woke. Her concernings about portraying sex-workers from original game, her idea of implementing separate trigger-warnings for every side-quest were very alarming. She simply doesn't seem like the right kind of person for writing stuff of a game within WoD setting about vampire's rivalry where ordinary people have a role nothing more than being extras. Degree of verisimilitude will be probably too low. I do love to be proven wrong on this but for now it looks hopeless.

Does it matter what she looks like? They are already on record saying this game isn't for the "males", might as well just design the females for the lesbians.

Their exact words was that the game won't cater to the same "masculine power fantasy" of the original, so that it can cater to a "broader audience", and i think we all know what that means. Brace yourself for the Last of Us Part 2 Part 2.

Also, given that the game is set in Seattle there's no way in the hell they won't update it with current events, so expect lots of nods to BLM and stuff like that.

You mean we won't see something like a male lunatic stringing up dead females around a christmas tree just for fun ;)?

"Masculine power fantasy" seems kind of redundant. Power fantasies are universal, stacked waifus don't make Bloodlines masculine. These guys are out of touch with reality. If anything, Bloodlines should be a feminine power fantasy, physical prowess of a dozen men, as well as predatory beauty. You can stalk the darkest streets without fear because you are the predator now. And there's also pretty boy Romero.

It's always been my power fantasy to play as a raver type who looks like he has untreated aids, or a literal sewer goblin. Yes sir.

Of course, VtMB is the ultimate feminist power fantasy. You play a female protagonist who wakes up with super powers. Your first action after arriving in Santa Monica is to steal money from a rich white guy whom you then lure into a dark alley to rape bite him. Unlike the inferior male protagonist, you can choose to have sex with male and female NPCs. Later, you take on a feminist side quest by a character called Venus to kill the evil man who is blackmailing her into sex. Then you join the communists Anarchs to infiltrate and smash the patriarchy Camarilla, which is led by a privileged straight* white man who is depicted as a power-hungry fool.

*debatable

That they’ll be a lot of dudes crying in the comments section on youtube?

What happened to catering to a broader audience? Are you saying this is just about hating men and not actually increasing sales? Interesting, tell us more.

The kind of men who still consider buying this after they saw Cara Ellison being attached to the project are the kind of men who enjoy being humiliated and shat on (i.e. 90% of GAYMUHZ), so I'm not anticipating a huge sales hit there.

I don't think most people who will be buying BL2 will know jack about Cara Ellison or even know who Brain My Soda is, it'll just be a brand recognition thing.
