40K only got big after it got grimmdark

GW, being liberal filth, have always hated that the fanbase reacted more positively to the grimdark 40k than their shit attempts at humor, and they have been repeatedly forced by the fanbase to get back to the grimdark, often kicking, screaming, crying and having the dilator fall out of the "vagina" in the process.

For the past decade now they've been shitting up 40k with ever-increasing amounts of pozz and actively sabotaging any fan that actually tried to make anything good out of the IP.

Sodaz got fucked over by them, and the Astartes guy has been MIA ever since signing a contract with GW, and we never even got the remake of Helsreach. I suspect GW got into contact with these people with the express purpose of sabotaging their projects.

As far as I understand, this guy is an executive producer working on Rogue Trader, and he tweeted a few days ago that 'his project' is on Unity.

These retards seem to think colorful palette = cartoony. Which is exactly what you are getting when you make a carbon-copy artstyle out of the previous games. Soft, round and excessive shapes to make sure every soyboy feels welcomed.
