Friendly reminder that the amazing visuals of artists like Frazetta, Royo, Vallejo etc have never been used as inspiration for a CRPG.

We have all this amazing artwork of tough barbarians and sexy damsels fighting massive abominations, yet that aesthetic is completely absent in CRPGs.

On a more serious note,I don't think there many big dick developers willing to pull that aesthetic and tone off and create a CRPG.

There aren't much games with sword and sorcery aesthetics. Damn shame. Only a handful of games set in Conan universe. But i don't know any i would want to play. Some old mmo, a couple of console games and Conan Exiles which is run of the mill survival shit and boring as fuck. Oh yeah and tower defence game from Petroglyph has-beens.

I guess there's Conan Exiles which gets the oldschool sword & sorcery look down pretty well.

It's not even about subservient but about making women how women are and not some woke tranny bullshit. Playing DOS2 and seeing women waltz around Fort Joy like they have a dick between their legs is just making me roll my eyes, I can't unsee the political agenda. Most "Western" RPGs have at least some attractive female characters. The tranny woke stuff a la Tyranny is new, but women have always been made unusually strong in fantasy, particularly priestesses, witches, wizards, and other magic users - but also the various roguish types.

Also, who cares if they are in a "position of power"? What kind of BDSM psychology question is that? The question is, do they look good or not.

Witcher has attractive females galore. And they dressed them well, leading to a nice fad for medieval styles in Eastern Europe.

Unless this is a comment that The Witcher 3 is not an RPG, which is fair enough.
