Sure beats an 800mb update for Windows with the patch notes "fixed security concerns" and nothing else.I see how they wrote book length patch notesMoved a mushroom out of a rock in the Underdark.
Finally. This was so annoying.Fixed the 'Pick Up and Add to Wares' option not working on all items.
I see what Larian did there.SPOILERS - Please bear in mind some of the entries below might contain spoilers, proceed at your own risk
No. Divinity Original Sin 2 peaked at around 100k concurrent players. I thought this game would 2x that number. Instead they nearly 10x increased it.Does anyone here believed that BG3 would have exponentially more players than starfield?
Biggest one is being able to recast Speak with Dead if you didn't ask any questions. Allows you to try to speak, be told "doesn't want to talk to their killer", shapeshift, and speak again. By far my leading cost of reloading saved games, and due to the nature of such things occurring immediately after the battle, having to redo said battles when I forget to save.Blimey O'Riley, that's a big old list of wee fixes - and quite a few that are welcome too (that "pick up and add to wares" glitch was really pissing me off).
You spent the whole game recruiting allies. You should be summoning them here, and it goes by faster.
who the fucking fuck thought this was a good idea
Great, summon even more NPCs who take their turns one by one. Just what this fight needs. I can already take a nap between each turn. You should be summoning them here, and it goes by faster.
This was never implemented in DOS2 enhanced edition, so I doubt they'll do it here. But there was a mod for DOS2 that did it.Just wish that we could speed up animations like PF:KM allows when they implemented it, you can speed up animations up to 10x speed.
Agreed, one of the most boring fights in the game. In my second playthrough I just turned everyone invisible and ran my way through that bit and nothing of value was lost

Yep, it's

Speedhack uses a lot of CPU cycles, I guess they didn't think of it since the game is already CPU-hungry.Underrail also allows speed up animations it and is a single character tb game. In a game where enemies can soak a lot damage, there is a party of 4 + lots of allies and a single character can have 5 undead from dense macabre + a elemental + 4 flying ghouls from animate dead, such option should be mandatory imo.
But tbh BG3 in this aspect doesn't get into Wizardry 8 levels of boredom. A party of 8 vs an army encounters are very common and animations are extremely slow. Even with the mod to SKIP animations, fights takes and eternity. I'm not saying that bg3 is bad. Only that allowing me to speed up animations and having all minions sharing their initiative and acting together would make exponentially better
Nonetheless, given the commercial success of BG3, Larian can obviously afford to take a risk on their next game, and they can save considerable expenditure by re-using the BG3 engine. Parts of BG3's Act II were clearly inspired by Ravenloft, which has a gothic horror setting that might be considered a compromise between a conventional one and something wildly out there, as with Spelljammer or Planescape.
