I suppose for their next project Larian could be stupid and pull another Dragon Commander out of its ass rather than replicate this game with additional improvements.

They kinda look like Dragonlance fans and the licence they are after could be that.
Are you ready for a Dragon Commander game in Krynn, Codex?!?

Fucking blatant Baldur's Gate, Dark Souls, and internet forum references don't belong in a game. Worse than Fallout 2.

Damn, you are grasping at straws here. This game actually rocking took us both by surprise Roguey. You gotta learn to be gracious in defeat.

We've seen it all before and we'll see it again. As we speak, Swen is snorting cocaine from the ass of his girlfriends and doing a post-release review:

"What have been the main areas we should improve on?"

Assistant clears up his throat and starts "Well Sir, most critique seems to be about the lack of directions given to the players, the puzzles and the overall difficulty of the game..."

"We'll fix those for our next game. Anything else?"

"Um... there is the writing..." assistant stammers.

"Well, get someone popular to write for Original Sin 2 then, we have them money!" Swen shouts

"How about Jennifer Hepler from BioWareEA? Looking from the frequency of mentions, she seems a popular choice even at the RPG Codex magazine."

"Get her then. Though it is a damn shame we couldn't get Avellone..." Swen replies, turning his attention back to his girlfriends asses.

"Yes sir. Avellone's loss was a great one" the assistant responds while looking up Hepler's contacts.

"Curious though, never knew a man could die from having a too large member..." Swen says absentmindedly.

"It was the lack of blood Sir, it all went... down there..." the assistant answers awkwardly.

"What a tragedy" says Swen, snorting another line of cocaine.

"Exactly you can easily end up with gear 3-4 levels below when you don't save scum at chests, merchants and boss fights and then game is suddenly hard on easy;"

No. I haven' save scummed for llot once and for the most part it's been a cakewalk. Once you get enough spells/abilities where your mages can cast, cast, cast you should be fine. There's enoguh samn loot as well that you shouldn't need to steal unless you play that for shits and giggles. The game is ph@t lewt galore. Nothing wrong wiath but whining that one 'needs' to steal to make money is pure bullshit.

Messing around with different choices at the end of the game:

You can kill the white witch for slightly different dialogue with the red lady (and no restored soul forge option, obviously). Same with Zandalor (though you can also kill him before he gives you the First Garden information, screwing your game. He gives the "SHEATH YOUR WEAPON" talk, so telling him no results in a fight  ) . If you kill Zixzax he comes straight back and laughs when you ask him about his recent murder. If you kill the god lady (Astarte?) in the last fight you get a special game over sequence, was pretty good. Can you attempt to kill either Astarte or The Trife during your earlier encounters? I never tried. You can also murder every ally in the shelter plane for free xp and all their inventories.

Just got to the forbidden zone, fuck it took some time, but really worth it.
:troll:
Spent awhile forcing party animals to spawn. Tried attacking them, talking to them, fireballing them and pick pocketing them. That tease is too mean, Larian. Too mean.

What's with all the overly large skeletons in this game anyway? I'm amazed no one has mentioned it, but half the skeletons lying about are the size of giants.

Why? I demand to know.

Is it possible to transfer saves? Or are the saves locked to individual copies? I kinda want to mess around in the coop game my friend has been hosting.

I think you can transfer it, but you have to transfer the whole profile.

Well just finished the Immaculate Cathedral

That fucking east button  I can only imagine the butthurt of the average Modern Gamer over that particular puzzle. The fight was made very easy when everyone is teleported into the little room and Madora can just block the doorway and take all the punishment whilst wrecking each one that steps up. Flurry is stupidly overpowered too: killed the head honcho in the first round.

We had a topic about it on the official forums, too.
Several things are much too large for the size of the characters.
Take a look at e.g. the Jake's wife in Cyseal, when she is behind her shop counter - the counter is almost as high as she.
Some bread loafes are about 1mx0.5m in size
Then the skelletons, of course...

Either they have been a bit sloppy, or the character models got downsized during development.

I am fine with loot staying random, just at more handcrafted uniques that have a chance of dropping anywhere.

I put some books and parchments on it to get the right weight...

That's the trial, no?

Cathedral uses false compass with 4 buttons, and trial uses wight puzzle.

Derp. Lol yeah, too many temples, cathedrals, churches :)
That button on stairs is bullshit, hiding in such plainsight. My eyes bleed till I found it, something right in front of my face as soon as I enter the room...

I got a party wipe in the fight. After having gone through all the bookshelves. And spending like 20 minutes trying to find the last button. No save before the fight. Was major butthurt.

Fight went south as as the fagget bled my MC and cast blood rain and shocked the blood puddles = entire party perma CC'd in a bad position since I didn't expect enemies to appear from thin air at that spot...

Try #2 after raging: spent my level up talents, got leech on MC = bleeding heals. LOL'd, Flurried the fagget to death in round 1.
