What does this mean for the future of the game tho? What happens if a big DLC gets released? Idgaf about costumes and shite like that, but what happens if we get ~10 more hours of gameplay (presuming atlus doesnt remove Denuvo because of the bypass)

DLC gonna be unplayable until the game gets cracked/denuvo gets removed? (gonna be a while lol)

Or will the bypass make it easier to get into DLC than regular Denuvo cracking will?

They can very well block any DLC or updates behind modified .exe I guess? Doom Eternal was shipped without Denuvo iirc but that just means you bypass/crack the launch version

And subsequent update iirc was not playable on cracked version until Denuvo was finally removed

Ahoy mateys. A question foRRR all my fellows that plan to sail the high seas.

- Game is bypassed (whatever that meant), thus it can be played fully from start or finish. That much, I get. What does this mean for the future of the game tho? What happens if a big DLC gets released? Idgaf about costumes and shite like that, but what happens if we get ~10 more hours of gameplay (presuming atlus doesnt remove Denuvo because of the bypass)

Or will the bypass make it easier to get into DLC than regular Denuvo cracking will?

This is also assuming the DLC is not gonna be costume shit, because IIRC the devs implied they have something different in mind for DLCs this time.
Afaik if this works like the last few cracked/leaked games the bypassed version wont have access to any update or DLC. Unless they remove Denuvo or the game gets cracked again, of course. I guess it is possible people could jury rig the new updates/Dlcs into the game if they grab a hold of the files but I am not sure how hard it would be.

The MC looks just like the Persona 3 MC in casual clothes, so unoriginal.

fake butt removal
nigga u wot. what they did to hulk is a crime.
The curvy butt picture was fabricated in photoshop or some such. It was never a part of the official game.
i don't care about some picture. what they did to her in the game is a crime. two sticks transitioning into spine with nothing in between. even jailbait songstress has more curves. it's not even "negative ass" popular in modern western woke vidya. it's just void.
What they did at her ears is even worse...

The MC looks incredibly gay. He looks like a gen z non binary kid on hormones. I thougt fatlust couldn't outdo themselves after shin megami 5 but they did it maybe they had netlfix help them out.

The MC is deliberately designed to have a femenine look. There's no denying that. Is more noticeable in the dialogue portrait.

Aside from the face features, he is wearing a headband and his clothes look as he's wearing a skirt. Personally I don't have a problem with that. The thing is he looks awkward, overdesigned and bizarre like everything in this game.

In fact I find the UI overdesigned too this time around, to a larger degree than in Persona 5 even - it straight up veers into annoying smudges territory

He reminds me a bit of Marth (Fire Emblem).

Superficially. The body shape here is distinctively masculine. So are the clothes and the posture. And the colour scheme is mostly blue for easier recognition. Almost the opposite of the protagonist in Metaphor.

Well, the """problem""" is that P5 had great UI design. Why, as a developer, would you go back to something less intuitive (inferior) with your new games when you already have something great at your hands?

How hard is hard really? I've been craving some challenge, and I was wondering If I should nick a save from online, so I could unlock Regicide right away.

Hard is already pretty hard IMO - enough to have a random non-boss mob wipe-out your whole party quite easily, like those fire breathing sand worms in the second dungeon. Can't imagine playing this on Regicide to be honest.

How would you compare it to DQ11 Stronger Monsters, if you have played it

I would say it's comparable, assuming you mean just stronger monsters without additional difficulty tweaks (no armor, no shops, chickenpox etc.). With all of those, DQ 11 is harder.

yeah, just difficult monsters (i used couple more, but none so game changing)

part of me wants to try regicide, but Im not sure its doable on a pure new game (when its already unlocked, seems like its a diffculty for new game+?) , and some people said it causes extreme tedium?

Can't say late game yet, I guess it gets much easier. But early on I was frequently reloading to change my setup for a boss / dungeon, as a "standard" loadout was just not cutting it - was either inefficient or downright unable to succeed.

Also failing to win the real time skirmishes with mobs (getting ambushed rather then ambushing the enemies) led to frequent party wipes - or terrible resource sinks to recover.

Actually I think the ambush mechanics are a bit too much - if you win the skirmish, you not only instantly deal 50% their total hp damage to enemy mobs, but they are also disabled for 2 whole rounds!

the shit main plot from half until the end of the gamereally drags this down. combat/difficulty is really decent imo, even if archetypes are a downgrade to demons

i expected this to be considerable better than SMT V, instead i think it s at the same level, with other problems and inferior to SMT V : vengeance

so yeah, imo it s a mid tier atlus game, far inferior to my favorites devil survivor and strange journey. hell i think metaphor is worse than p2 p3 p4 p5 too

Hmm, criticizing the plot and then bringing SMT V into the discussion. Really weird.

On hard, it is quite hard at the beginning when it comes to resource management and boss fights. By the end of the game only boss fights are hard, but they are difficult in the sense you are meant to figure out the puzzle - how to defeat the enemy before it rolls out endless waves of attacks. E.g. take advantage of block and dodge mechanics - which makes the enemy lose actions, or outright repel the attacks, or use your abilities to create weakness in enemy and take advantage of that, etc.

Any info on how does that compare to regicide?
