absolutely not a fan of the geometric shaped artstyle.. the fuck is that.
Pretty disappointing from a big MI fan.
I mean MI 3 had really great artstyle, I love it. Wish they would make it like that again.
I have fond fond memories of playing MI 1+2+3 as a kid, why do you have to trash that? Have I fucked your sister or your mother? fuck you.
As a sidenote: Were any of the newer MI games actually good? the series one and that latest one.
Yeah, that old fuck seems to intentionally destroy the good memories. Why is this happening everywhere, with every great and beloved series in TV and games from the 80ies and 90ies? Is it a conspiracy? It's like with the damn iconoclasts during reformation times, smashing and destroying every piece of great art "for the glory of God". Or like the fucking bolsheviks, trying to annihilate every last sign of higher bourgeoise culture.
Concerning newer MI games: I have to admit I never got over the atrocious artstyle of the Telltale games. In my opinion it looks almost equally disgusting as this Art Brut shit decrepid Ron is trying to shove down our throats with his newest game. According to many accounts they seem to be in order gameplay- and storywise though. I don't know. For me there was always and there will always only be 1-3.
funny thing is that many fan projects tried to mimic the first 3 games, yet these dudes chose the worst artstyle ever for an adventure game! and their response would be: "yeah, MI never had a standard artstyle" what a bs, with this reasoning you choose the WORST?
even tho that statement is not even true, MI had only 1 style: 2d hand-animated style (real 2d), from 1 to 3. EMI is not even counted, tho it surely is better than the trashy telltale's series.
one of the nicest projects that tried to catch COMI style is: ((A Playwright’s Tale/ The Journey of Iesir)) it's been cancelled but look how cool a fan project can get without a budget. while those new fan-bois whining about how hard it is to make a hand animated game now, and that it requires lots of work.
