Isn't one of the big draws supposed to be the mod creation tools?
Close. Dungeon making tools.

But if this was a very clever way of saying that you're hoping there will be a mod that will take the "they" button out, I tip my hat to you, good sir.
Uh yeah, totally. I am definitely that clever.

Gorgeous for a dwarf/manlet standard.

Now seriously. I created a halfling rogue in my party and OMG, the movement speed of her make all cool mobility rogue stuff worthless. After finishing this run, I will gonna play as 4 shock arcanists high elves. Nobody deserve this manlet and his small legs
Yes, the small races are a surprisingly bad choice for melee Rogues. This is true in Pathfinder as well. Seeing as how most things are faster than you, they can easily outrun and kite you.

Insert Title Here Pathfinder: Wrath
Halfling re-roll of every 1 on a d6 is insane though.

Game’s great and beards and shit looking a lot better than yesterday. Headed in right direction.

Pronouns and Wakandan like tramp stamp on good girl. As long as she’s not too proud of it can work on it. We’ll see.

What the hell - the character models definitely got more ugly from EA to full release.

Anyone willing to put in a facial uplift mod?

Now that the mod for variant human is not working, is there any reason to pick Human?
I get that they couldn't use the variant human because it wasn't a part of the SRD but what's stopping them from making they're own homebrew version of Human? Make something completely different from the variant, no need to be constrained.

It works, the author updated it today. I'm using it and it works fine.

Make the Codex Great Again! RPG Wokedex Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Serpent in the Staglands Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 BattleTech Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Kingmaker Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
So I can be an authoritarian (Loves rules) Cynic (scoffs at rules). Okay.
Hey man, it doesn't take a genius to see people everywhere screaming about rulebreakers, but when someone points out they do bad stuff too, they say "Well that doesn't apply to me, because I'm right!" This is just as true in magical elf lands as it is on the modern internet.

Instead of being outraged that the player can choose a character's gender, the Codex should be overjoyed that they can be officially represented in game as a shortsighted hypocrite.

Except for a few lunatics who advocate mass murder, no serious person is saying "they don't have a right to exist."

They don't have a right to exist because theirs is not a real condition. They are mentally ill people with delusions and a lot of malicious grooming. They are about as real as people who think they're werewolves.

Mental illness is a cop-out so that people can claim they aren't responsible for their actions. These are just people who have chosen to serve evil instead of good.

Argument: Why you whining about such a non issue that doesn't effect the game or game play.

Counter Argument: If it doesn't add to the game why add it. Oh yeah, pandering. And, not the 'good' type of pandering that adds to the game in any way.

This is a combat/exp[loration game or so I;m told (I; waiting for it to download) so does trans matter if it adds zero to the game? It doesn't even matter if the characters are CIS but nobody worries about it.

When I played IWD, I never worried if my characters were into fukking males, females, dogs, or trolls. IT DID NOT MATTER.

And, transgender is not even a gender so asking to request 'transgender' as your character's gender is silly since, by definition transgender is 'identifying' as either male or female so if you want your character to be male just choose male and voila transgenders.

LMAO

That said, ultimately, I'm gonna judge a game based on quality, but adding shit that adds nothing to the game does make me suspect how much focus on making a good game instead of 'woke points'.

On the surface, it looks like a fun playable game. Let's hope so.

What's the konsensus on this game? I never heard of it before today

It's a pretty decent turn-based 5E d&d game with a modular campaign setup. Looks like the goal is to make it a platform for delivering future quests and adventures.

Has an odd, brutalist UI but it works okay, and the developer has part of his head up his ass, but hey, kickstarter.

The current player count is 3.6K on Steam with a 24h peak of 4.5k. kinda surprised the numbers so much lower than other indie CRPGs like Pathfinder which had a peak of 22k. Is the lack of a big license hurting them or just the lacking budget?

The game is for combat-oriented/loving people. Lighting, vision and options are VERY well implemented. A bit railroaded. The end slightly sub-par, compared to the rest of the game.
Smart move, not calling them combatfags. That would show the SJW agenda inherent in the Codex trying to corrupt the youth of the world into rampant buttfucking and dice chucking. Once it's normalized as a term for playing RPGs it's only one small step into sodomy, THAT'S HOW THEY GET YOU!

The low budget face models are fine. At least vampires on solasta looks like vampire, unlike :
Isn't that guy more like a Renfield? I haven't played BG3 yet since I'm waiting for EA to finish, but I didn't think he was a full vampire. Thought he was illithid-slugged too which shouldn't be possible for vampires.

Kingmaker didn't have early access (Or at least, one labeled as such) so their peak numbers were probably a bit higher because of that. Kingmaker also pulled in around $900,000 Kickstarterbux, while Solasta did $300,000. Just seems like they had a bit less interest over all, probably because a lot more of it is homebrew while there are a fair few Pathfinder fans out there and (Presumably) some people that were even already fans of the Kingmaker modules. Even with Solasta not doing anything too weird for a setting they're still working uphill because of that, and Kingmaker had Christ Avellone's greasy fingers on it too for more crowd-funding attention. That'd be my guess at least.
