Glad to be a proud liberal left socialist.
Is that why you changed your avatar or is it because people were mocking you?

This is the avatar I had on my main account before it got banned, and on my 2nd main before I self-ejected, you fucking newfag.
Best to shut your mouth now.

Seriously though, why can't we pick our own custom avatars?
There was a time after the switch to XenForo when we were able to, but there are grognards who thought that custom avatars weren't prestigious enough and that they should all be RPG/adventure game related.

Tbh I find people summoning me to dumpster fire threads like 'inXile' or 'torment - times of narnia' way more offensive than HugeNick stealing my avatar.
This trainwreck is great, best thread to derail since... shit, cant think of any thread more worthy of getting derailed than this one.

I don't think the badly formatted overdescriptive text is the core issue of Numanuma. General lack of memorable moments is (and Pillars I guess, but I only finished Act 1, can't be the judge for the whole game). Take any recent or old RPG, there'll be moments that got printed into your head. For example, Fallout 1 had very memorable Cathedral part along with Master himself, Talking heads in general, death animations, cheeky BoS paladins sending noobs to their death in the very atmospheric "The Glow". Take AoD, there was Ordu assaulting the outpost, attack on the Antidas' palace (and Imperial Guard story in general), ascending to godlike figure thing, and many more. I don't remember anything from T:ToN. Yes, there were text adventures, so? Who cares? (Sorry MRY)
And the whole game like that. Who cares, anyway? What was it?

That's just a symptom. The real core problem of the game is that most of it was written by average writers with average imagination. And they created the sequel for a game that was considered the best written videogame of all times, with one of the most imaginative moments ever.

It's as if a bunch of people who scrape off measly living by churning out Warhammer novels decided to write a Lord of the Rings sequel.

Hey! I like The Iron Tower! (Actually, the only one I really like is Eye of the Hunter, but it's not every day you get to drop a Dennis McKiernan reference.)

What's one of the most imaginative moments in Planescape?

A lot of things made a deep impression on me. Not that I remember it clearly, been years since I played last time, but the entire Lady of Pain sequence, a lot about the setting, the city of doors, most of the PCs and NPCs....

It's actually hard to pinpoint, why something is quality imagination and why something else is trash. Why Middle-Earth is exquisite while some third-rate fanfic wannabe world is cringy. Why PST is great while Numanuma crushingly average.

I am almost sure that a day or two ago they showed an "all time" mixed score instead of this "in the last 30 days" positive:

Especially because all the other stuff has "all time" rating shown:

I should not have been surprised, yet I am.

Have you played the game it tries to copycat, Planescape: Torment? I'd say no to both answers, though.
