I don't think softcore has a significant market any longer
All these triple A commercial games that let you customize your genitals are softcore. They fade to black rather than showing penetration and letting the player interact. Is that not a significant market?

If you're going alien or monstrous, actually go alien/monstrous. Then let the true freaks out themselves by wanting to fuck them anyway.
The Lust from Beyond series does this. There’s the Paradise Room sequence in the first game, the Chamber of Change in the second… I don’t know how the upcoming third will outdo it.

Depends on your definition of softcore I guess. I think the usual meaning of softcore porn is you still see the acts being performed, just without penetration.

By this definition, BG3 does feature softcore porn. The only one I saw was Minthara where she basically gives you head and rides you.

It was not good.

Lust from Beyond is interesting, it's basically lovecraftian horrorporn.

Congratulations on the successful Kickstarter, Tyranicon! Now don't let us down ;). Just wanted to double check: we're going to be able to completely toggle the porn stuff off, right?

My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
Nice. And just a few more bucks to the next stretch goal as well.

Someone went for the 9k pledge level. :shredder:
The odd thing is there was still an early adopter tier for that same pledge level (at $7k instead of $9k) available.

Yeah, that puzzled me too. But being a fool good person I DM'ed them with that information so they might be swapping down.

The Lust from Beyond series

I looked this up and it unironically looks interesting. Are these actually any good as games? It looks like they could be. PM me if that's better, I don't want to derail this thread.
They’re not terrible, but they’re not amazing either. The main draw is the Giger and Beksinski inspired art design and the Hellraiser meets Eyes Wide Shut premise. You can visit the discord if you wanna chat

Question: is this on Earth or is this a secondary world like Narnia or Planetos that has entered a cyberpunk era?

The latter. Like I said, any real world references are just easter eggs or similar.
Props for originality and pioneering. I cannot think of any secondary world fiction that isn’t fantasy, but there’s no reason why secondary worlds cannot be used for all genres.

78,5k. Frankly, I hoped the titty preview would generate more momentum :-D
It's the typical lull in the middle of a kickstarter. My youtube videos don't get much traction anyways outside my very small subscriber base unless it goes viral, which is relatively unlikely.

I've got other things up my sleeve. As it is, the campaign is the 7th highest funded live video game project on KS.
