There are a lot of perks, skills, and abilities that allow dialogue unlocks and unfortunately a few (like Low INT and Terrifying Presence) didn't have consistent coverage.

(i.e. Sawyer would have insisted that be changed if he had caught it)

You can see in The Outer Worlds that Tim and Leonard have also caught on to "no more caveman speak."

Is that a boy or a girl? The answer to that question for nonbinary people is usually "neither".
