There's a bunch of explosive barrels from the previous encounters you had on your way there. Grab some oil/ooze barrels, place them together. Then use teleport on the Ghoul-that-guards-the-lighthouse to bring him to the killzone and ignite them with a burning arrow or flare spell.
:smug:

I considered this, but here is what I ended up doing - I just sneaked close enough to the ghoul and teleported him in the middle of my party and just DPSed him before his minions could reach me. His attack has a seemingly unlimited range anyway so having him close was beneficial. After he died I only had the minions to deal with, which are much weaker than the zombie dogs he summons. + I'm gonna need those barrles for that undead blockade on the way to the main quest.

So, any of you bros playing it in co-op? I'm interested in multiplayer in theory, but I always fear that it will destroy my fun, because there is another person in the game who might progresses slower/faster, or not interested in the story and skips most of the dialogue. And of course in a long game like this both of you have to find time to play, because if we play co-op, i want to play the whole game, not just a few hours, if the other person decides that s/he lost interest, or want to restart for some reason. Do I miss anything at all if I play only singleplayer?

Sweet! They changed something today on how the game saves. NOW I don't get any crashes so far *crosses fingers* Now I can play all day!

Fun. You're right about wanting it to be long term, though. Just playing a couple of hours in someone else's game would suck (unless you've already gone through your first 7 playthroughs, I guess...)

Another dumbass question, having explored most of the Cyseal region, re. Theyleron (sp):

After killing Evelyn, found the shack that the doctor had purchased, found lots of incriminating evidence including the unsent letter. So clearly the next stop for the MQ is the cathedral, but I went to go check on the doctor and he's just gone, and nobody says aword about it. There's no follow-up except hitting the church?

Been enjoying the game. Restarted... what, I don't know three or four times?

Finally settled on Rogue and Wayfarer as my starting pair. Exploring the first city and still having a blast. Pet Pay is super fun and I really enjoy Jake's dog helping me out with the murder investigation.

When you bring him Esmeralda's panties to sniff to find the murder, his response about smelling every man in the town on those panties EXCEPT Jake was hysterical and also gross. I am still wearing those panties though... +1 Charisma man. Still don't know who the murder is - mainly because I haven't found clothing items from the other three suspects yet.

Killed the Skeleton Scorcher below the General Store without too much trouble, just kept him knocked down. He exploded and set my rogue on fire when he died, which was interesting - but nothing a rain cast couldn't solve.

Loving it. It has a lot of good vibes from older RPGs in it.

I'm wearing the same panties, man.

You don't miss anything other than the typical co-op fun like arguing over options or killing your partner, but certain aspects of the UI are a bit more annoying in single player.

Few thoughts:

- I think we should point all fuckers that said Early Access is shit. GAME IS FUCKING POLISHED AS HELL AND IS NOT BUGFEST CONSIDERING ITS SCOPE. Hell i am yet to CTD even once. So far for me just one "literally" bug (which i posted earlier). All things work like dream. From pathfinding, AI to even quests chars properly doing their stuff on quests.

- Can't wait to see people adding to main campaign content. Larian works on Skyrim like modding for mc (without restarting game or destroying saves due to not having mod) and considering how well developed is editor it will be easy to add ton of quests.

- Can't wait to see people overhauling stats math (like removing dump stats), adding new skills and traits and so on.

- And finally can't wait for standalone modules that will come after few months. Just imagine ToEE having same editor !!!!

Also i think it would be amazing if Larian would remove hardcoding of it's systems and make it more like wizard ready custom design. For example for mod i won't need charisma skill so i remove this skill from my module. Or I need new skill like Luck which will add to combat math and i wouldn't need lucky charm ability thanks to this.

Something like this exist in Betsheda engine and makes game like FNV super-fun changing its rules (like making percepcion work on shooting aim which was in both F3 and FNV useless beside markers and perks).

The more open engine will be to people the more money Larian will earn.

Anyone found a use for the high-end ingredients, like essences, the various gems and tormented souls etc?

few more thoughts:

- Found actually backpack in chest ! So you can find them instead of storing those 5o boxes (although i found only one)
- So i was out of fire arrows and no fire spell or weapon with fire effect... enemies are standing in oil. I think i think and i think and i almost gave up... Then i throw candle into oil like in fucking PnP game and it fucking worked ! Systems in place are amazing !
- You can actually with blacksmithing improve weapons ! Just put them on whetstone wheel and voila few more damage to any weapon (sans bows and other non malee stuff). Also after this weapon cost more ! So before selling shitty weapon improve it for extra money. Don't know if improving blacksmithing will help with improving more weapons
- You can buy rings ready for enchanting from shoppers which means enchanting is definitely in game.
- Crafting is level scaled. So if you are going to create club at lvl 3 you are going to create lvl 3 club. Same with blacksmithing i don't know if crafting only works on available recipes or it also counts to quality of craft.
- Loremaster lvl 3 gives me HP and AP of enemy along with its armor !!! (like observe perk in F2)

When bartering, is there a way to set a specific amount of gold without the use of slider? Which is a pain to use when needing 327 (for example), out of my 1851...

It's making me thing that my idea for an STD collecting Commander Shepard-like protagonist to defeat the evil Sex Space Lord has some merit.

Playing 3 member party with one lone wolf
And one full party with one non combat character (No combat skills, mostly points in perception.)

Somehow the full party is still having an easier time.

Lone Wolf is a difficulty toggle, it should be way easier with a full party. Working as intended.

I believe alpha or beta testers mentioned that this doesn't work, and guess Larian listened and incorporated it. Kudos!
