Guys I have a technical question.

All of the graphics seem really bright/washed out. I've adjusted gamma but it doesn't seem to have helped. Does anyone have any advice, aside from me tweaking my monitor settings? I don't want to do that because I'm only having the problem with this game, and no others.

On Kirill's site you used to be able to download the soundtrack of the older games - that should contain many of the missing pieces from D:OS.

"He does? He ignores the fact that games like his favorite DA2 or even DA:O and MEs, AAA games, didn't sell "millions" on PC alone. I would be surpriced if any of the recent Bioware games reached 2 M$ PC sales in their lifetime."

You are an idiot

DA2 isn't my fave. And, i didn't even like ME3.

Does it matter on what a game sold as long as it sold?

DA2 sold a milion + copies in less than a week. It does not matter if it wasn't all on PC you dumb shit.

So, now I know yet again. Codex is hypocritical. The Codex does love cool downs, hit point bloat, lack of C&C, and chosen one plots.

Volourn makes a good point as always. Who would have thought some Codexers would enjoy a turn-based game with environmental interaction?

Publisher doesn't take 50% of your profits, publisher already owns all the profits. It's their profit. If you're lucky you get some royalties / bonuses. Most of the time, you were broke when you started, and you're broke when you're done. You just paid for game X by selling game X.

As for Larian, we know for a fact that they're already making a profit. They're already ahead of where they were with every other game they've made.
Those aren't the deals Larian had, considering they've always kept ownership of the Divinity brand, and made enough money to partially-fund Div2 and this thing and fully-fund Dragon Commander.
It's true about keeping the Divinity brand, not true about the money, though. They earned the money for partially funding their sequels by making casino games and stuff for Belgian TV. Swen admitted that due to being one of the few Flemish speaking studios that did such stuff, he could charge pretty well for it (i.e. one TV stuff coder funding himself + one extra developer).

Matt Barton embraces decline:

Matt Barton was overrated from the start. His interviews are uninteresting
Fuck you! Most of his interviews are interesting. Go watch interviews with David Gaider if you are not interested in the industry veterans like MCA, Josh Mendel, John Romero, Roberta Williems etc.
i agree, give J_C a break grunker, he does a good job.

Also, the rock paper scissors minigame is even worse than the crafting. Who thought that this will be a good idea?
Yeah, it sucks.

There is a pretty cool bug so that you can skip that shit: Start RPS, click on the portrait of a different character in your group, then click on the character who started the dialogue again. BAM, instawin RPS.

Whats up with randomly generated shop invenories? I realised i started coop scoundrel hybrid without Hide in Shadows... Now i cannot find this lvl 1 skill (FFS) anywhere. The Witch who's selling scoundrel skills, never has it, even when reloading 1ooo times. Basic skills should be totally available.

The other annoying thing is how there are only 13 rogue/ranger skills compared with man-at-arms and spells.
